Just kidding. Any death is bad - rather they'd have been brought to justice and a suitable punishment applied (ie not one given in this country).
I can't really think of a more just or fitting consequence, even if it wasn't a punishment.Another death in Reading - car on the run from the Police:

Apparently, they are 'horror smash victims', and their families have been appointed a dedicated Family Liaison Officer from Greater Manchester Police.
FFS.
I just wonder if there is a probation officer local to them that suddenly has time on their hands that could have done the job.FFS.

Who hopefully spends their time telling the family "ha-ha, the stes are dead".FFS.
Sorry - just really winds me up how we support the wrong people
This forum never fails to surprise.
To those responding 'GOOD'.
A car was stolen and people have died - a 'good' end to this tale would be the reversal of time, for no car to have been stolen and no one to have died.
What happened is in no way 'good'. It's a sad and tragic story.
I retract that - a 'good' end to this story would be for everyone who replied with 'good' to never ever voice their opinion on anything ever again.

When our legal system is completely impotent in dealing with such people, yet precludes people from defending their own property is it really surprising that people are pleased that natural selection has filled in where our society has failed? To those responding 'GOOD'.

Best would be no stolen car.
Next would be an effective justice system that forces them to repair the damage they do and ensures they don't do it again.
Acceptable would be a justice system that removes the possibility of them committing further crimes.
Given we have none of these things, and many examples of people who routinely offend and reoffend as though it were a career choice, I am quite happy to see them face the ultimate consequences of their own stupidity and glad to know that tonight there are two less people who might steal my car and threaten to shoot anyone who stops them.
I won't miss them personally and there's no doubt that this pair were the authors of their own misfortune but I'll hold back on calling their mother a we as one poster has so charmingly done. Maybe their mother is a terrible person, maybe she is a normal person who pleaded with her sons to give up their life of crime, I don't know and I'd be surprised if anyone else here does either.
If either of them had children I feel sorry for them.

As a landlord, I have to deal with vermin like this. The last shower did 4 grand's worth of damage - all malicious upon eviction. Coffee thrown at all the walls, lino ripped up, doors off hinges - the sort of thing that scum with no respect for anything might do.
The Police, of course, decided to do what they usually do, i.e nothing. Apparently it's civil, not criminal. I expected the 'justice' system to let me down and of course, it did. That's why I had a chuckle as I read the story.
