Probably find something wrong with the car and the owner will have to pay compo out or end up with a jail term for the car not being safe to steal.

Sorry if it upsets any one but i have no sympathy for thieves.

A good end would have been for those two to have gone straight and put their backs into compensating everyone else they've hurt in the past.

Somewhat unlikely.

Of the likely outcomes, this is one of the better ones, for the people who have to live near these people at least.

This forum never fails to surprise.

To those responding 'GOOD'.

A car was stolen and people have died - a 'good' end to this tale would be the reversal of time, for no car to have been stolen and no one to have died.

What happened is in no way 'good'. It's a sad and tragic story.

I retract that - a 'good' end to this story would be for everyone who replied with 'good' to never ever voice their opinion on anything ever again.

GOOD.
+1

No - they were SCUM, no use whatsoever to society and not missed by the many honest and decent people that live in this country.

Remember they killed themselves, no-one forced them to steal the car nor run from the police - it was their own stupidity that got them killed and lets not pretend they actually gave any sort of a st about their victims.
IMHO the more like this that are removed from society (by whatever means) the better for the rest of us.

Lessons need to be learnt, it's clear that ensuring violent car thieves don't get harmed in their endeavours must be the priority.

Never mind victim support lets fund a nationwide scheme to train car thieves in high speed pursuit driving to ensure this doesn't happen again, we should also give them proper firearms training and such to ensure they can commit their crime with the least amount of personal risk possible.

Car owners who are the victims of aggravated burglary should also be legally obliged to provide a proper hand over training to ensure they are familiar with the equipment and while we are at it the police need to hold a roadside risk assessment meeting prior to the pursuit so they can agree a safe an appropriate route prior to the theft.

Whilst i can see where the bleeding hearts are coming from. Ultimately it was their choice to go that way in life, nobody forced them and they knew the risks, as do all the lowlife that go that way. So i have no feelings for them whatsoever..Dems de Rules, hey took the chance and lost..tough

Well one thing is for sure - they won't do it again will they?

No doubt a family somewhere is devastated by the loss of their two sons, but if they'd done their jobs as parents then they wouldn't be in this position. They're dead because they were scumbags and I really, really couldn't care less about them.

Very well said.

Unfortunately combining making fun of those who burn to death with insulting their mother is de rigueur on PH these days.

By a certain type of cretin anyway.

I wouldn't worry. They'll knock a few more out, depending on how much dribbles down her leg in an alleyway.

A terrible tragedy. The owners of the car must have been gutted about the theft and subsequent immolation of their vehicle. Any way of claiming damages from the estates of the scum who stole it?

It is a shame that they couldn't have met there end without stealing the car, things would have been so much better.

Whilst the 2 Good-Guys will be getting together care packages to send to the bereaved family, I shall join the other 50-odd posters in raising a glass and saying "Good riddance you thieving scrotes, I hope it wasn't a quick end"

Without doubt that is exactly what MocMocaMoc meant, and not at all a massive childish overreaction on your part.

Wrong.

There are many aspects of this story which are good:

1) They won't re-offend.

2) Taxes that would've been spent to keep them in prison can be spent on better things.

3) Their 'promising footballer' brethren may, just possibly think twice before doing the same.

4) The chance of them running over a member of your family has been reduced.

Some people deserve to die and those that flout our laws in this way make a huge personal contribution to that end. Ultimately the choice is theirs, all we can do is celebrate the fact that they can't do it again.

I agree with you CommnderJameson, Nyxter expressed MocMocaMoc's sentiments far more elequently, with no trace of sarcasm at all.
