I'll take her in. Just for one night mind. And she's not allowed to talk!
I doubt the press would pay enough to cover her tax bills just to get some gossip on your bedroom prowess, so I think you'll be safe there.

wink
I meant 'talk whilst in my company'. She's a fine looking woman but I can't stand the accent and drivel.
She'll choose me over you then as I WILL allow her to talk. Specifically she will be allowed to say 'yes' and 'harder' and nothing else. Oh, and maybe 'have you ever seen a girl that can do THIS?'.

Will her assets be sold or seized to pay her debts?
I wouldn't mind sparing a bit of time to seize her assets. I could try to have a look at her arrears whilst I'm at it and maybe offer to help her with a lump installment. wink

How come she already has a date of discharge? I thought this was after they'd worked things out /come to a mutual agreement.

Just the one Eric - but maybe so. Although at 2k a year........I was a bit shocked.

It appears that what happens is that I enter all of my financials into an online system, then at the end of the year......they do the calculations and say what I owe.

No ongoing support. Should I expect that?

In fairness, they have been sacked now - but just saying - seemed a rip off to me.
The upshot of that style of "accountancy" service is that they have no involvement and they don't care about you.

What you want is an accountant who actually cares about his/her clients.

Automatic after 12 months. (Earlier discharge only if debts cleared)

Just got married in a lavish ceremony on the banks of Lake Como, being skint and being a skint celeb are two totally different things.
I guess cynically the bankruptcy was planned for after the wedding bill / income.

I doubt very much if she will have to sell the family home or cars and be forced to live within her means she will be able to continue as normal, give her 6 months and she will be back earning more than most of us. Im sure getting married had something to do with when the bankrupcie was announced.

According to my celebrity booking agent...on current rates she could cover this off with around 10 supermarket openings, four or five commercial endorsements, one film and 12 week run in a west end show.
Is that the 82K or the 417K? It sounds quite a lot of work for £82K for a celebrity but not nearly enough work for £417K.

As has already been pointed out these numbers refer to Kerry Katona not Martine McCutcheon.

I know, but the question still stands.

Allegedly, she just splashed £550 on hair extensions, according to the Daily Mail:
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-22790...

I haven’t read the article in full, but I get the impression, DM don’t actually know for sure, how much she paid. Maybe she needs them for an upcoming role she’s playing, and they’ve been paid for by the production company?

Edit:
Just read it further, and it seems some deal/discount was struck in exchange for some publicity via Twitter. Who knows what the deal was…

Crap reporting - as always.

Theatrical type people regularly have to buy good quality wigs, hair extensions etc. They are part and parcel of the business and are completely allowed as bona fide business costs by HMRC for that profession (don't ask me how I know).
