If she had a gun she would have been able to defend herself.

Is this an attempt at humour? Or do you really believe that?

it seems unlikely to me that he shot her by mistaken identity.

You don't shoot someone in the head and arm 4 times by accident.....

Apparently she turned up to surprise him for Valentines day. That is what you get for being romantic.

Well I was going to post some 'witty' joke about this, but then I realized I'm not a complete knob head attention we.

Sad events for this girl and her family. Hopefully its a tragic accident, not something more sinister.

Actually I almost hope it's something more sinister; how do you begin to deal with the fact that you accidentally shot your girlfriend?

Yes, I don't want to get involved in idle speculation, but I reckon he murdered her. It must take some doing to
shoot someone in the head and not realise it's your girlfriend.

Can he get away with this?

Clearly he's shot first, asked questions later.

I'm not sure if he can get away with it, I mean OJ Simpson was acquitted, but he certainly shouldn't get away with it. I would imagine her family might be a bit upset anyway.

In south Africa there are measures in place to allow for it however your life must be being threatened. Reeva was no threat to him and the fact he shot her 4 times worries me greatly.

Article says;

"He is of course someone who has overcome great difficulty and tragedy in his own personal life"

Really?
He lost his legs at 11 months old so doesmt know any different. It's not like he had a car crash, nearly died and lost his legs!
He also had a loving family, good education and did very well at sports.

I thought he come across as a typical Boer arrogant prick who hated losing!
