Well. There's justice for you.
I don't know much about the SA legal system, but am absolutely certain that if was black and from a Township he'd get treated in exactly the same manner
I don't know much about the SA criminal underworld but they showed an interest in him didn't they ?

3rd November according to the Guardian.

House arrest seems pretty cushy in SA too;

"He is expected to stay at his uncle Arnold’s three-storey mansion in a wealthy suburb of Pretoria. He is likely to be allowed to leave the house to work, carry out community service or to attend important family events, and officials say he will not have to wear an electronic monitoring device."

Living on a posh housing estate in SA is a bit like being in prison anyway - high walls, tight security, armed guards etc.

And now the regular, career criminals will know that he's not armed and an attack on him or his property will not be met with a few bullets. I wonder if that's a justice the PH mob would prefer.
