BBC aren't reporting it yet. But, it is true.

Seems timely to repost this link. It's a reminder of the error in law from #judgemasipa

When is sentencing and any ideas on the length of his prison stay?

Murder sentence: 15 years minimum
So Judge Lorimer Leach at the Supreme Court of Appeal in Bloemfontein has said that in the interest of justice, the manslaughter conviction of Oscar Pistorius for killing his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp must be set aside and replaced with the correct conviction - murder.
Under South African law, murder has a minimum sentence of 15 years.
However, experts say that a judge can exercise discretion if there are compelling reasons to do so.
Pistorius is currently under house arrest, staying at his uncle's home in Pretoria.
He was transferred there in October after serving one year of his five-year sentence for manslaughter, also known as culpable homicide.
He is likely to be re-sentenced in the New Year by his original trial judge Thokozile Masipa.

More the shortcomings of the Trial Judge, really, as it looks to me that she rather cocked up the legal analysis of the facts.
Full hearing viewable via link below. Roux was better earlier on, but didn't deal so well with judicial questions later in his submissions.

Finally. Now they need to sentence him appropriately. I see no justification for any leniency.
Minimum sentence for this type of murder is 15 years. It's a strange world we live in where we have "degrees" of murder, dead is dead but I'd be happy with that length of sentence.Guvernator said:
