I hope the judge takes the time to see that video. It surely makes the courtroom show a joke.

Was it submitted as evidence in court?

No, it only came out recently.
The BBC was saying that the Prosecution may request it to be admitted. Don't know if its too late now other than what I say about the video compared to Pistorius's performance in court.
I see that as tantamount to contempt of court.
Certainly lets us Joe public get a little more insight into the lengths the defense will got to.
Had to laugh when the report said that the Pistorius family are furious and are shouting 'invasion of privacy'.

This is from the previous page.
He seems to manage considerably better than he does in court.

He can clearly get a shift on when he wants to. He's also a former rugby player and obviously with his legs on he can outrun any of us.

I am struggling to see how his disability makes him any more vulnerable than, say, someone with crap eyesight who is as blind as a bat without their glasses, or whose knees are fked, like mine.

Maybe a little more vulnerable, balance will be worse. I'd say someone with poor vision or limited mobility from dodgy joints is in some circumstances also vulnerable and would be no less justified in trying that kind of thing on in court (which is to say IMO still actually totally unjustified, but equally so IYSWIM) if they had the bare-faced cheek for it.

It just makes him look even more dishonest and even more like he needs to be in prison for public safety to me - I'm not a fan of locking people up in general but someone that's killed someone and is still flailing around for excuses and blaming everything in sight has got to be someone you can't trust not to do it again.

So, despite being too depressed and mentally scarred to give evidence, Oscar has given a TV interview.

Apparently, Reeva wouldn't want him to be imprisoned.

I suppose he could ask her........

Oh hang on and wait a minute.........he splattered her brains all over the toilet wall with one of the four shots that killed her frown

I'm sure she's up there thinking how hard done by he is.....

Don't forget that he first beat her on the head with a cricket bat.

Has this been established as fact in court yet, or is it still just the book?

The photos of the bat are damning and so, from memory is the pathologist's report.

I may have missed something I didn't think cricket evidence was in the frame for some reason. If it was believed to be the case, we wouldn't have had all this argument about whether he actually intended to kill her. Surely hitting someone over the head with a cricket bat is a pretty clear indicator of intent?
