Dave said "No plan "B"
Discussion
Oh yes Dave did say this but that was before George over egged the 4G network sale... lol what a muppet he is!
So how will young George plug the 1.3Billion shortfall seeing as he jumped the gun a bit by promising it in the Autumn budget statement ?
He also said no extra borrowing, this should be interesting or will he follow Ed balls advice & start some big projects(infrastructure etc) to get the economy moving?
Hmm still not forgot how he Fooked the O&E up in North sea with his Quick tax , Statoil were so impressed they pulled the plug for UK until young George fell back into line & reversed it all, still cost us a few billion though!!
Then again he could raise taxes but I doubt George is that DESPARATE yet, all this has to fit neatly into Plan A as Dave did say "What the party opposite don't get is that there is NO Plan B"
Ouch I bet he wished he hadn't blurted that one liner out eh!

I can't even make out half of what you're blathering on about, but to be honest £1 billion is nothing in the scheme of things. I'm sure he's more worried about the rest of the deficit that he's trying to plug!
Either way, it isn't going to turn out well for those of us who actually pay tax.

On the basis that £1.3bn shortfall on the auction is the equivalent of me ebaying a second-hand fridge and only getting £20 for it instead of the £50 I'd hoped for, I doubt he's that bothered. Pissing in the wind springs to mind.He also said no extra borrowing, this should be interesting or will he follow Ed balls advice & start some big projects(infrastructure etc) to get the economy moving?
Well done the completely impartial BBC for sticking it right at the top of the news.

Quite, its about 2 days of the deficit isn't it? I do worry that so many people can't grasp the magnitude of our deficit, or even the difference between debt and deficit.Either way, it isn't going to turn out well for those of us who actually pay tax.

Quite...In ten years labour spent £60bn in increased welfare payments, doubling the welfare budget...
And that was "Plan A"

Ha ha McWigglebum3rd the best reply so far Lol!
London424 posting chit like this proves to me beyond a shadow of a doubt that you just can't fix stupid...
And you are way beyond repair...little tin pot snob
Nothing in my reply was snobbish. I just couldn't understand the point you were trying to make. London424 posting chit like this proves to me beyond a shadow of a doubt that you just can't fix stupid...
And you are way beyond repair...little tin pot snob
So if you'd like to start again I'd be happy to discuss.
Just for starters do you know what the deficit currently is?

They are going to have to put the boot into Welfare in a big big way. Its not going to be popular and certain bits of the media are going to tent their trousers over taking them apart over it but it needs to happen.
Ok there is the classic p!ss boiler 11 kids and no interest in working but not getting distracted by nice media worthy cases, housing benefit and long term career benefit claimants need to be controlled and squeezed out steadily over the next few years so etc.
Thing is doing big stuff like this is not seen as a good policy. I don't know why but saying we will get welfare costs down by 25% is not seen as a vote winner even by people that would directly benefit in better services / less national debt / less increase of taxes. Odd.
There needs to be a country wide will and support of whoever is in power to reduce the whole footprint of the govt get them out of jobs and things they should not be involved in and back to streamlining things after the bloat that both parties have introduced (perhaps can be laid at the door of 1997 - 20XX labour for a spike )
I don't get a feel that there is a clamour for identifying the work shy and forcing those who have no had a history of tax / work contribution to be phased onto lower payments and systems that allow people to recover from job loss and other set backs but does not allow a long term alternative to real employment. When that starts to happen and a sense of impoverishment ( yes its not "fair" maybe ) hits people who are not trying then perhaps it will encourage those to do something.
The whole work placement in PoundLand is slavery is a fecking disgrace and shows that an attitude change in the people, judges, law and otherwise needs to happen or we are done.
Debt needs to come down and someone is going to have to take the pain. Its time the public sector started taking some more of it on I think.
