I was wondering why we give overseas aid based on 0.7% GDP shouldn't we pay all our bills first, and then give Aid .
So basically it should be 0.7% NDP (net domestic product)
i.e. fk all as we are broke !!
who agrees ?
I agree. Sod the bribes angle, we can build things here for once.So basically it should be 0.7% NDP (net domestic product)

Yeah, just saw this on the news, major piss boiler with the state this countries in, and not only that, it's gone up from 8.3 billion last year to 11. Something this year!!!! It's a fking joke, just pissing our money up countries that either waste it on dictators or internal wars. Just think what the 3 billion or so rise alone could do for schools, hospitals police etc...
If the general principle is making you puce with anger, how about turning green?

Because that's the amount we signed up to give in the UN agreement.
What's this 'WE' business. Some Politicians with their slimey little fingers in the pie signed up for it. Aid...take from the poor of rich countries to give to the rich of poor countries. It's a national disgrace

Let companies do the bribing if needed, otherwise it's still just a form of subsidy.
Surely the Bribery Act 2010 makes that impossible?Gassing Station | News, Politics & Economics | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
