Meanwhile the accused innocent men would have had their names splashed across the local press as a (alleged)RAPIST!!

All in the public interest of course and nothing to do with the sordid practices stty newspapers indulge in to try and shift a few extra copies.
Those bd men should have their balls cut off

Likely but its not like she has got rolls stashed anywhere to pay any subsequent judgement....oh wait....
Looks like she has plenty of rolls of something.

Although not many people would be likely to want them, I'll grant you ... vomit

On the other hand, just look at her. Honestly, its a monster, who would climb on top of that?
Hm, it's been a while. When does she get let out?

Agreed. Obviously mentally ill. Had been in trouble for the same thing before but no one has addressed the cause of the issue. Now been jailed so still no attempt to actually help her and spare the anguish of the men she will no doubt accuse in the future when she gets out.

It's a shame for her and for us that no one seems to want to try and do something to solve the problem.

Aircrashes is another one. There was a crash at Stanstead of a 747 where it was crew only and Gatwick got a couple of calls from people saying that they had relatives on the flight. It was a cargo plane.
I've heard of this before but to be fair it could be just blind panic. People often get half a story and if a passenger plane had departed at roughly that time it's possible somebody could add 2 and 2 and get 5.
Although this was part of my responsibility for some 20 months, I have to confess that I never looked into it closely. However, the names that keep coming up are from people where hubby or kids, mainly women reporting men or daughters I was told, went AWOL years before.

A list is kept of the name of those who phone up and the persons they report.

There is a suggestion that they get a kick out of turning up at the scene, crying, getting the free food, being interviewed and getting treated as important. Let's face it, we all like notice being taken of us. Especially those who've been married for some time.

The problem is that the response to a major incident (not so much aircrashes with their boarding cards) is taken from an estimate of the number of casualties. The ambulance service would not be amused if they were told there were 150 casualties only to be told after checks that there were four. They lack a sense of humour I've found.

Regards the original article, I wonder what will appear on Enhanced CRB Certificates (additional information, police intelligence or whatever) of the 11 men concerned whistle - and never mind the bad press in the newspapers frown .

Hopefully nothing smile , but I wonder if there are any consequences of this muppetry in this regard?

There is no mention in the report of her suffering from any mental illness; if that were the case it would be mentioned in her defence. I'm unsure how you came to the conclusion she is 'obviously mentally ill' other than through clairvoyancey.

that's the thing, there is a section on CRBs (actually called DBS now, but for those outside the industry, i shall continue to refer to it as CRB) whereby the chief inspector has the 'option' to put information that may be of interest to future stakeholders about cautions and other trivial matters in order to give the aforementioned stakeholders a full picture of what they are letting themselves in for when looking at the applicant.

Suffice it to say that in the interests of arse covering in case they ever do rape someone, the police often put any and everything down on CRBs, and i suspect these poor blokes would have some mention of this case on their record. it would confirm that no action was taken, but peoples imaginations would work overtime and in my opinion, they would still be stigmatised by the association.

I don't even know who Claire Voyancy is.

I would have thought that the fact that she's got form for this would preclude her from doing it again, as it's obvious she was going to be rumbled. The fact that she went ahead and did it anyway points to her being delusional at least. A normal functioning mind just wouldn't behave like this.

But...I wouldn't mind betting that the local rapists (the unfussy ones) will target her upon her release. What's she going to do if she actually were to be raped? Go to the police?

In addition to the wasting of police time and the obvious impact on this woman's victims, there is another serious consequence to consider.

Cases like this make it more difficult for women who genuinely have been raped to be believed, and taken seriously. Rape reporting and conviction rates in the UK are already pitifully low, partly because women don't think they will be believed, and this appalling case will do nothing to increase them.

Well I would hope that people who are not mentally ill would not do such a thing. Whether it be a desperate cry for attention or whatever I would hope we could take it as read that she has some form of mental health issue given her actions.

Further re-inforcement that names of all concerned parties should be kept from the public until a court has made its judgement.

There are reasons that isn't done. They may be ancient history and unknown to you, but that is for you to address.

The OP suggested she was suffering from some kind of compulsion.
