I thought that NK are now saying that this is nothing to do with them?
They also deny having concentration camps the size of Manchester... Yet we know they exist.

Whether it was them or not, I wouldn't believe them just because they say "nothing to do with us chaps".

I'm tempted to suggest that if it *really* was the work of NK, they wouldn't deny it was them - it's too big a coup (so to speak) for them not to reap the perceived political kudos.

Then again, as a poster above alluded to, the entire NK government is based on a foundation of denial, so f*ck knows.

My guess is that they've bunged China to do it. China has been holding up the NK regime for years with aid and equipment. It's what friends are for.

Anyhow, NK is now threatening 'unspecified attacks' in response to Obama pointing the finger.

Of course they do, but not unlike the Pakistani intelligence services (Bin Laden hideout), the Chinese government have got a face for every day of the week.
If it ever came to the west getting into a war with China, they wouldn't think twice about turning to N Korea to call in some favours.

North Korea's internet is having some trouble today... http://www.theverge.com/2014/12/22/7434201/north-k...

NK's internet is mostly military and government, with special permission for any other use.

Kims using the government modem to download Mary Berry's Cake-o-pedia. He's using up all the bandwidth.
