He's getting chubbier...

Clearly mistaking cake for pie, eating cake, realizing error, eating pie to correct error, then eating more cake because cake comes after pie, but not if it's fruit pie, as fruit pie can come after pie or cake, so more cake and more pie...

It's the only way to be sure.
