Working for a charity (the banks? biggrin) in New York, according to the BBC.

Wonder if he realised he's too tainted by Blair for any future political career?

LOL

There will be much quaffing of the fizzy stuff in Esher and its environs this evening, eh, what?

As if it will make a blind bit of difference.

Except on PH, of course...

hehe

I suspect that David Miliband believes that he lost his real chance and paying second fiddle will not suit. I would expect a senior appointment in a well paid comfortable job probably in international politics or similar venue. Most politicians are in politics for what they can easily get out of it. Once they realise they are rumbled they move on to better things. No great loss just one less idiot in New Labour. Tony Blair being the shining example.

Interesting fact from wiki:

"With one exception (Arthur Blenkinsop), every South Shields MP since 1929 has been a cabinet member at some point in their career. Two of them, Chuter Ede (Home Secretary) and Miliband (Foreign Secretary), have held one of the great offices of state while MP for South Shields."

He is going to take up what is described as a "big international job based in New York".
The Russian Mutual Friends' Society have given him a pistol, several hundred rounds, and instructions to slot the entire IMF staff.

As was once said in Wales a monkey could win for labour here. Not that anyone would suggest that the Milibands look like monkeys. Nothing could be further from the truth to quote Private Eye.

I wonder what highly paid bull***t role he will take up - of course giving most of his money to the state to spread the wealth like a proper Labour person.

The Eye has grown timid these days - presumably because monkeys can get top-notch legal representation these days, and would see any assertion that they look like the Millibands in court, on a no-win-no-banana basis.
