no international rescue.

well another by-election for UKIP to upset everybody
It would be a big upset in South Shields!
It would be some victory for UKIP, labour have a 11100 majority in South Shields!

There are huge parts of the North East that a Red Rosette guarantees you a victory, at council level some of the most inept corrupt and terminally thick people ever to enter politics win by huge margins.

It's worrying.

Having Googled it, I was expecting to see all sorts of lizard peple NWO froth about IRC, but doesn't seem to be anything? Conspiracy theory standards are clearly slipping. Or are they scratchchin

remember this is the guy who threw his teddy out the pram when his brother won the leadership contest. He is probably still pissed off over that.

He seemed to be really childishly affected over that.

I did not see this coming, I had him down as waiting in the shadows for his idiot brother to run out of steam and then march in and take the leadership and go on to win the General election. I had his card marked as a dangerous poltical giant who was going to pull another Blair style win and rule on us all.

I am quite disappointed now.

New Labour politicians do childish strops rather well. Milliband D fits that role very effectively.

David Miliband has realised that Ed has not, as many people expected, been completely out of his depth as Labour leader. The Tories are now so unpopular that there is a chance Ed could be PM in two years time. That being the case, David realised that his chances of leading the party had gone.

David's big mistake was voting for the illegal Iraq war. If he had opposed it and resigned, he and not his brother might now be in line to be PM.

It is such a brave and humbling thing to see a humble MP from a humble background giving up his position so he can move to america and give up his time to work for a charity.

Do you think we should have a whip round to buy his children some shoes as he won't be able to afford them after this sacrifice

A charity job by all accounts. Now Microgland Major is heading across the pond, what's left of Labour wink

David's big mistake was not sucking up to the Union barrons like his brother did. If he had done so and given Bob Crow a blow job, he might now be in line to be PM.

Who on earth will miss either Miliband MK I or Miliband MK II?

I will be awaiting the next self serving idiot (pray not EdBalls Up) to reach the top of the pile of slime that is New labour. Missed? Only like a very bad hangover. The duplicitous self serving self interested acolytes and apparatchiks within New Labour are to a man, (or woman, just consider Mrs Balls Up Yvette Cooper she almost makes me sorry for bkbrains), utterly appalling examples of the worst in modern politics in the UK.

Chris Huhne (now in clink) might be tad worse. But only a tad. Tis said that society gets the political leaders it deserves. Does not say much for us does it?
