Couldn't Noddy afford the ransom? That's recession Britain, I suppose.

"Tony Blair, former Labour leader and prime minister, said: "I congratulate David on his appointment to a major international position. It shows the huge regard in which David is held worldwide. I'm sure he will do a great job. He is obviously a massive loss to UK politics."
In the interview this morning, there was suggestion that he is not ruling out a return to politics.

Clintons wax lyrical about him... politics out there maybe scratchchin

I really didn't think I could have any more contempt for Milliband, and then I read that he's a Macam.

A great excuse for Milliband D to resign from any association with oikball using his 'moral compass' as a good reason. Of course, having resigned as an MP there is no longer any requirement to show how much in touch with the people he is by associating himself with football. Just my cynical opinion of course smile

He'd be a better footballer than Chancellor and the country would suffer far less harm. Good move smile

I'm not one to usually comment on peoples spelling or grammar, as my knowledge of both is very limited. However, it's fascinating to me just how many of the PH political party can't spell Miliband...and I don't mean the repetitive poor attempts such as 'millibrain' or 'milligland'. I mean the ones that spell his name 'Milliband'.

It's seemingly about 50% of the contributors to this particular forum. I wonder if it's the same 50% who recently polled they would more than likely vote UKIP at the next GE?

hehe

Yes indeed a Britain without either of the Microglands (sp?) would be good.

I don't think earning £10k a time for going to a meeting can be classed as a labour of love.

He's not.

Being a supporter doesn't make you a Macam. It makes you stupid, agreed, but then as a Geordie I would say that.
