This thread has shocked me to the core. I find it unbelievable that, in this day and age of smartphones and
advanced communications people still spell it V-O-D-A-P-H-O-N-E.

He is claiming on Twitter that he knows what hes doing, and will take his 'business' elsewhere.. By the looks of it, hes been harrassing a girl on there too.

Yes, all lopsided like a fighting crab.

So when he says Vodaphone should think of his health, they probably are.

I had a £10,000 bill from Vodafone for one months usage - all data tethering usage.

After lots of arguing and such I got it reduced to £600.
Go on I would like to hear how you managed to wangle out of that one when you should have paid for it.
Probably because most peoples bills are fairly consistent and under £50pm. Allowing it to get to a figure a couple of hundred times that without making it very clear this is going to happen will not go down well should they try to enforce it. A small bit of text buried in amongst the terms and conditions of a technical product (i.e many people don't even understand Mb's etc) would be hard to enforce against a consumer IMHO. This is why the networks are quite lenient on this when people make a genuine mistake.

Of course this doesn't seem to be the case with the chap in the OP.

Thinking from the other side about this, what if:

- I setup a company, say a chatline company with minimum resources (one "lady" talker) and a premium rate phone number.
- Find a dupe/friend who is at the bottom of life's financial barrel with nothing much to lose.
- Get dupe/friend to ring my chatline business constantly.
- Wait for the phone company he used to pay my company what I am owed, relying on them being the honourable company that they should be.
- Let dupe/friend take the fall for the financial mess generated but feed him his reward smartly.

yes

There are other tweets where he claims to be this channel's "best customer" and states quite clearly that he spent £51k in a couple of months. He knew exactly what he was doing and isn't the lonely loser he claims to be.

Exactly.

Looks like he's been doing this for a while too - going back to the start of Sept at earliest.

Bit of a 'dodgy' character too:

'BIKINI BABES CHANNEL 908 WHAT A LOUGHIN STOCK OF A CHANNEL,,, OMFG I JUST BEEN DISCONNECTED FOR MENTIONING THE WORD,,, ESCORT,, AS IN MONEY'

Oh yeh, I mean his replies wink

Usually if it's a conversation you get the replies in order.. This obviously isn't showing as that.

I couldn't be bothered to copy & paste a blow by blow (Oooh err missus) account. The screen grab was just an indication of what a Cock this guy is, mainly the bit about being "re-connected".

What a complete and utter tt.

As for Vodafone, they didn't "agree to reduce his bill" because they are nice people. They agreed to let anyone and everyone else with a Vodafone contract pay his bill for him.

It's not partly your fault, dipst Waldrum, it's entirely your fault.
