A late, great friend of mine knew of the Rev when he was a new boy and he said that his chambers used him once and he was useless !!! As for the gate mouthed one, I would be very doubtful of the ability of someone who takes guidance from a former page 3 model and an Australian fraudster!!!! whilst sitting under a "pyramid" !!!!

I genuinely don't know how good she is or isn't. A quick look at Wiki says that she was raised in a single parent household, went to Grammar School, got 4 a-grades at Alevel (back when that actually meant something), graduated with a First Class degree from LSE, and came top of her year when she did the Bar Exams.

What makes you say she isn't a good barrister ?

I know plenty of very bright idiots, in the same way that many of the least Christian people I know are avid churchgoers.

I've got a couple of neighbours like that, they never miss an opportunity to be aholes, and yet go to church regularly.

Regardless of how taxing the Bar Exams are she still came top of her year. That suggests that either she is indeed very bright or that all the other entrants were very thick. Combined with a first from LSE it suggests the former rather than the latter smile.

I agree with your point that academics mean nothing. However, from what I can see, she seems to have built up a fairly successfully career as a Barrister. Some will suggest this was down to political patronage. I'm not sure - I think you would be stupid to choose a Barrister where you MIGHT get brownie points with the Labour Party but run the risk of losing the case. So, whilst her political views might not chime with those of most PH'ers, it seems to be a case of a vineyard of sour grapes to suggest she's less than reasonably competent.

TB didn't knock boots with Wendi. He's not that stupid and he could do better. She's not all that.

You seem to know, tell us more please.

Rupert thought she was worthy, and he has been endowed with lots of money choice.

I dont know any more. I think it would be exceptionally stupid if he has, and I don't think TB is stupid.

TB is a politician, values his reputation as a family man and always seeks public approval, RM doesn't give a monkeys about his reputation or what the public think.
