Ok, thanks.
(You need to wash more often).
Like I said there is a lot of misinformation swimming around, I'm universally cynical to most of it, which makes it hard to actually project what the future is going to look like but the rumors are that there will be a constant train of HGVs coming and going from the site, up to 300 a day? I don't know what or why though. What would the liquid nitrogen the chap mentioned up the thread be used for?
300 a day is bonkers propaganda; a big port like Aberdeen harbour handles something like that daily, a single drill site cannot absorb 10,000 tonnes of assorted inbound stuff in 24 hours. A tenth of that might be peak traffic.(You need to wash more often).

Simplified .Liquid Nitrogen is approx minus 190 centigrade and is kept as a liquid by pressure ,once released it warms naturally and expands by 800 times in volume . Pipe it down into the earth as a liquid , add water , everything will instantly freeze , and expand , BOOM .
Care to explain how high a pressure they use to keep it liquid?Care to explain how it is pumped down the well as a liquid?
Care to explain how they add the water?
Care to explain how it will explode?
Care to explain if you have ever actually worked in oil field services?

1, a little as 10psiCare to explain how it is pumped down the well as a liquid?

2,using a properly cooled cryogenic pump
3,water is previously pumped down
4,Doesn't explode as you are well aware ,what does water do when it freezes ?
To answer an earlier post LN2 weighs 0.84372kg/cm3

Surfeit of ignorant watermelons in the Question Time audience; given it's in a Welsh mining area this is bizarre, you'd think they'd like the idea of harvesting mineral wealth and getting longterm employment.
Maybe worth listening to any questions tonight seems they have the inos guy ,Gummer and some other useful idiots to attack sorry debate with him.We must stop this terrible wasteful idea that produces no power and pollutes groundwater

That's a fracking interesting piece of info, more details would be good.
Fracking is safe exclaims Exxon Mobil CEO Rex W Tillerson. So safe in fact, that he has filed a law suit to prevent fracking being done near his 100 acre horse ranch. What do you have to say to that Wiggles? Are you still maintaining that fracking is safe?

I wouldn't be surprised if this issue is politically shelved for the near future.
So far no one has drilled a hole despite Michael Falloon saying about a yeah and a half ago there may be 40 holes in two years. The energy investment landscape has changed quite a lot in the last couple of years and the UK has added complications for fracking operations (high population density, legal hurdles, government, infrastructure etc.) There is little point in pushing ahead with little economic or political reward in the short-term. However no doubt at some point in the future this will be of interest again.

Is fracking safe? = YepLinky: http://www.forbes.com/sites/rickungar/2014/02/22/e...
Would having you as neighbour be safe ? = Yep
Would i want you as a neighbour? = Nope as the flags and constant screaming of freeeddddoooommmmm and "its not fair" as well as " i blame >insert this weeks oppressor<" being shouted from the rooftop would be exceedingly fking annoying.
Would i want a fracking operation next to me = nope as all the HGVs, diesel pumps and late night working would be annoying.
Infact if you actually read the article you will realise the rich person (quick everyone hate the rich) is trying to stop the fracking because of the noise. NOT any safety issues
But i would rather have fracking next to me then wind turbines.
Oh wait i do have wind turbines next to me after those wkers down south over turned the democratic decision of the local council.
As all the face paint has got to your head. Just because something is safe does not mean people want it next to them. But you are just too steeped in your lefty wk world to see this.
There has been more recorded fatalities in europe due to wind turbines then due to fracking
Any thoughts on that?

So the word on the green is that the MOD have given Cuadrilla permission to take their wagons across HMS Inskip which would mean that the Roseacre wood site has effectively been given a green light - we'll see what happens from here, I'm as equally worried about our village being turned into some kind of Greenham Common camp than I am of the fracking machinery etc...
But I did read this which I found very worrying, it's not very easy to find full information on this stuff so I fired one of to my MP, but if this is as reported on this website (and to be fair it does seem like a decent website) then it's all a bit concerning...
