Perhaps if people started getting on Sony, Adidas, Budweiser and Yingli Solars backs, given they are FIFA's primary sponsors then change might be seen.

I think many football fans are too fickle. I t would be nice though, kick em in the sponsors.

Apparently Emirates has pulled out from being a sponsor. Interesting because they were the only ones who weren't concerned in the run up to the WC.

I would imagine Qatar Airways will be sponsoring the event in Qatar and Emirates are stepping aside due to this.

Re the EU countries boycott, i find sports enthusiasts the worse when it comes to hypocrisy. There will be lots of big talk but all the teams will turn up and play. They will be shown to be spineless.

im fully aware Qatar airways will probably step in but to suggest Emirates is leaving due to the WC host country is not the full picture. Emirates have been voicing their concerns over Fifa for some time now.
