Damian Mcbride
Discussion
I've just read Damian Mcbride's book 'Power Trip' about his time in Westminster. Suffice to say that if you're a Thick of It fan it reads like a more extreme version.
What I don't quite get, is who paid him when he was working for Gordon Brown. Special advisers are normally technically civil servants even if they spend their entire time on political stuff. But were public funds really paying for him to try and swing the press behind Gordon Brown and against Tony Blair?

It's always been a bit murky in the sewer apparently.

There is a wondrous part of the female anatomy which should not be used in comparison.
He's really sticking the boot into Miliband and Balls in the updated version of his book.
