Election issue for Cameron. News at 10 lead story today.http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/immigration...
Sir Andrew Green, chairman of campaign group MigrationWatch UK, which has predicted the arrival of 50,000 Romanians and Bulgarians each year for the next five years, said:
"The Government is succeeding in bringing down non-EU migration...
but they have been blown off course by a sharp increase of 66,000 migrants from the EU.
"The figures also show that net migration from Romania and Bulgaria was about 20,000 in the year to 'last September', even before the restrictions were lifted.
"We believe this confirms our estimate of 50,000 a year over the next five years."
What many have omitted to say and was the main shock to me: was a 66% increase in immigration here from ITALY!
It's not 'if', but 'when', we sink now.
We are overpopulated with crumbling infrastructure and facilities not able to cope with this.
And seemingly nothing to stop it...

On BBC Today programme just now, the senior presenter John Humphreys went up to Page Hall in Sheffield to see if the Roma situation had improved.
Was a grim piece, no change and a total mess. As he walked round with an official (was either mp or councillor) locals approached uninvited (both white and Asian) and told of the mess it was contradicting the politically correct crap from the official. Locals were very angry with the groups hanging around, their attitudes and swearing, benefit culture and the rubbish thrown out onto the streets and gardens.
The official stated that she ignores the locals now as they won't accept change...
She said all it needs is time, John summarised that it is fair enough for her and politicians in London to say it needs time but it is not them on the front line living with it.
Felt sorry for the people living there.

I saw a piece on TV a while back, not sure if it was that exact area or another in W Yorks but the basic facts were the same, that white and immigrant (mostly Asian) residents were shoulder-to-shoulder, united trying to keep order in their community, as the feral incomers did their best to render it a third world ghetto. Was a grim piece, no change and a total mess. Frankly, it is utterly repugnant that these common purpose tts take such a high-handed approach with residents. It is a great shame indeed that the BBC has taken quite so long to wake up and smell the coffee. It is perfectly idiotic to miss the fact that if you bring large numbers of third world immigrants into the country, and specifically high concentrations in particular areas of the country, you will not simply import the third world and all it's ignorance, dirt and depravity.

They also don't care how they go about it, the latest, a woman entered a school playground with an empty bugger, scumbags!

Oh goody. A new plethora of nasty foreigner anecdotes.
I agree lets keep it going.I can officially confirm the arrival of 3 new Romanians in the UK.
My wife's cousin and her husband have been resident in the UK for some months now. Both are qualified nurses and work full time in homes looking after the elderly. I will ask if they want to move into a shed on the local recreation ground but they seem happy in the flat they are renting.
The third arrived with us on Saturday. She is our new kitten and while I do not think she will be working nor do I expect she will be able to claim any benefits.
