Nope. Ever lovely Watford so not too far away actually. Ideal curiosity or you had issues as well in Amersham? Great roads around there if one happens to have a free afternoon and a Lotus S4s as I did last time I was out that way :-D

My school (in Amersham) had similar 'founders day' where we had to all walk down to the church in town for some ceremony. Just wondered if it was the same school as you!

And yes some lovely roads around there... great fun in the Caterham when I take it over to visit the parents!

Attending worship in a church is utterly different to studying ABOUT religion.

Did you still go to whatever those lessons were called that week?

Clearly not!

I see a huge value in studying other religions. I see some value in going to services to experiance them but I see nothing but negatives in tryiong to force poeple to participate, especially if the service they are required to participate in is directly contrary to their own religious, cultral, moral or personal beliefs. I subesqently left the school, not just for that reason but that was a part of it.
