Really sad and shocked to have read this, it literally left me speechless. Deep pause... I had to check various sources to see if it was true.

From what I'm reading the gist seems to be that they'd have been killed on impact but I don't know for sure. I hope so, would hate to think they could have been saved and weren't . The fire would probably have been to intense for the average car extinguisher.

Sad news. Like many others my wife and I have enjoyed watching his films, not just F&F.

We were actually staying overnight in Barstow when they premiered 2F2F. Was strange seeing so many JDM cars in that part of the world.
