Really sad and shocked to have read this, it literally left me speechless. Deep pause... I had to check various sources to see if it was true.
A real petrol head, would surely be missed, especially now in any upcoming F&F series. World needs more people like this guy, instead of the so called tree hugger actors that are against motoring etc.

Absolutely gutted by this, have grown up with the F&F franchise and Paul was always one of my favourite characters.

It is WORTH watching it. Think of it as a tribute. I went to cinema ealier this year with the gf to see F&F6, it was good.

I'm the same. Just got the recent film for my birthday, as I loved the franchise of films. Sad to see him no longer with us. RIP

Looking at the footage of the car burning (I know, I feel terrible), I wonder if he could have been saved. Nobody had a fire extinguisher to hand or anything else that could have helped.

RIP and thoughts go out to his wife and daughter. I hope his co-stars etc are coping with the news too.

Sadly reminiscent of Ryan Dunn's untimely passing in 2011.

From what I'm reading the gist seems to be that they'd have been killed on impact but I don't know for sure. I hope so, would hate to think they could have been saved and weren't frown. The fire would probably have been to intense for the average car extinguisher.

Sad news. Like many others my wife and I have enjoyed watching his films, not just F&F.

We were actually staying overnight in Barstow when they premiered 2F2F. Was strange seeing so many JDM cars in that part of the world.

Sad news indeed, I was hoping this was one of those celebrity hoax deaths.

Came across as a pretty cool guy.

As above - I'm sure I wouldn't have such an interest in cars if it wasn't for the franchise - gutted.

RIP Paul - hope there are plenty of Supras and the rest waiting for you with the keys in them...

Sad new indeed. RIP. Thought to his wife and teenage daughter. frown

Only watched F&F 6 a few days ago.
although not an immediate concern for anyone, I wonder how they will deal with his loss right in the middle of filming F&F7?

The crash pics I've seen on the bbc site look like a very hefty impact and hopefully neither occupant suffered and hope it was a quick end.

Damn, just found out only 10 mins ago about this frown

RIP Paul Walker, he was almost this generation's Steve McQueen (Though Steve will always be the original Pistonhead Actor)
