RIP Paul...

I have just found out we share a birthday as well, which somehow makes it all the more real.

Sad news to wake up to frown

It was a Carrera GT, how fast was his friend driving that car for it to end up like that and burst into flames!

I sat in a cinema on my own to watch the first F&F. It was my 39th birthday. Loved it and watched them all since.

Liked him in Into the Blue as well.

Very sad frown

Comes across as a very selfless person. RIP.

Tuna. No crust.

As has been previously stated celebrity deaths normally are a bit 'meh' for me.

Lump in my throat reading this thread though. Seemed a genuinely nice guy and I grew up with the movies. Even to the point of having 'Naaaaawz' fitted to my F&F inspired Honda CRX.

I missed Fast 6 when it was on at the cinema due to work commitments. I'll be buying a copy for xmas!

RIP and thoughts to the family. Awful.

I. am actually quite gutted by this news almost in tears yet I didn't actually know him. But I loved his film franchise right from the off, followed them all and was looking forward to number 7. He always seemed to come across as a decent guy in real life.

A sad day and a sad loss (and to his friend) maybe he should've been driving, who knows but at least he can't be accused of making an error or pushing his luck stuff that would've happened had he been the driver

Terribly sad news frown Like many have commented I grew up with these films and loved them all, I was going to buy the box set but thought that I'd wait for the 7th hope that they will complete it as a tribute to him.

There should be a 21 gear salute to mark his passing.

I was lucky enough to have worked with Paul on Fast 6 last year. A really, genuinely nice guy and a proper 'gearhead'as he liked to say. He loved the Mk2 Escorts used in the film so much he bought the 'hero' one to take back home with him.

RIP.
That's pretty much all anyone needs to know about him. Such a shame and a great person by all accounts.

There's a sodding YT clip taken by someone taken a moment after the crash, seemed more interested in filming it than actually using his phone to call for help. Don't understand people.

Very nasty fire, no-one was getting out, but it's not the time to take a clip and update your status.
