Hoover boots, yeah, total rubbish. Dyson vacboots now, they are the nutz. Meanwhile, I am trying to float my company that makes hover boots.

PS: When I was a kid I was promised that by the year 2014 we would have flying cars, a Moon Base full of tinfoil clad space babes, and killer robo-police. Hey ho, one out of three ain't bad, I suppose.

Don't be so silly. A whole company will never float. Unless you have a company made of cork?

Housing bens cap is £26k, so assuming c50% of that as they'll need full housing as a lone parent plus the c£4-5k for asylum benefits (lone parent plus other completely unrelated lone adult).

so go for around £18k net = c£25k if you had a job (as no costs for not travelling to work).

Seems like a decent deal

Doncha love, BTW, the "I disagree with you so you must be a troll" line so beloved of certain NPEers, as currently being discussed on a nearby thread.
You forgot "We disagree so I'm going to make it personal" & "I can't dispute your point so I'm going for abuse & insults" as beloved by many.

btw- Your mother was a hedgehog & your father smells of elderberries. Go away or I will continue to taunt you.

The Dunning-Kruger Effect was in the news this week. It postulates that incompetent people are too incompetent to recognise their own incompetence.

No st.

Fat people who can't see their own diet and lifestyle is the cause of their weight, rather than "'ormones" or "thyriod" blame displacement problems.

Impecunious people who can;t see how their own fecklessness makes them perpetually skint.

Who knew?

Thanks. That explains why me and my boss seem to disagree so much at appraisal time frown

For the benefit of Breadvan72 and Derek Smith:

http://www.theguardian.com/media/2014/apr/16/tony-...

I watched the interview with Pax, Jon Steafel, the Mail's Deputy Editor and Alastair Campbell who I dislike intensely about the Mail's attack on the father of the Miliband's and Campbell was saying that Dacre is for the chop. That article may confirm that view.

Unlike Murdoch, at least Dacre doesn't have Blair and Cameron massaging his Haemorrhoids with their tongues. I'm assuming that Murdoch has Piles obviously, and as such that assumption may be wrong.

It's good to see the government working with the Daily Mail to help make the British public less wrong about everything:

I am not sure how the DM running advertorials for the Home Office fits with Kinky Boots allegedly lunching with the Murdoch empire?

Why where the children taken into care? Abused, mistreated did anybody give a dam about the children?

I am not condoning the social worker by publishing or gloating about this case.

Maybe she felt relieved that she did some good.

By publishing information that could identify the kids in question, the belief is that she was risking harm to them. So much for her 'zero tolerance'.

Its confidential stuff & shouldn't be blabbed. If she can't do her job properly & professionally then she shouldn't have it.
