Why did they say the bloody jubilee line was going to be running! Got there at 7.10, no tube access at all and nothing seemingly working. Now sat on boat, so far 4 hours to get in.. Borris and that w@nker need shooting. Have their power struggles in private, strikes impact the people they are meant to serve.

Crikey - that is an early start in anyone's book!

My A1 commute to Herts is bad enough, you guys have my sympathies.

That just about sums it up. What got me this morning was double the number of cyclists, they just kept coming!!! If you where trying to turn left they just keep coming up the inside. Watched as some poor woman was trying to turn left at lights and had to wait for it to change twice before turning.

Raynes Park near Wimbledon to Stratford about 18 miles 2.5 hours.

Exactly the same time as usual, Northern line and DLR were both running.

Had to wait 7 mins for the Northern line train but it was offset by not stopping at quite a few of the stations!

I'm reading this and I only vaguely know what you are talking about.

I always find it funny when people talk about London, it's almost like a different country.

It was quite a sight with all the brand new, bright white trainers around the capital this morning...

Need to get to excel today, normally it would be about 1h 30 mins.
Got to paddington, tube station closed, although bakerloo was supposed to be running.
Quick call to my manager, jump in a cab and expense it. 30 mins to get a cab...
2 hours so far and I'm nowhere near excel....

Pretty much normal, be interesting tonight. Glad TFL ran the Jubilee from Waterloo (not much help if you get in to London Bridge though..)

fk Bob Crow and his council house.

Got from Surrey to Waterloo as normal. No Waterloo & City so walked it as I do 50% of the time. Was fine, except for the masses of cyclists today making crossing the road a bit like Frogger.

This. Boris is doing the right thing here. He can't just give in to Crow every time. Crow and Unions in general are the problem.

I think you'll find that Bob's fine thankyouverymuch...

I'm on a train from Doncaster heading to Vauxhall. I may have to get a bus from Victoria... It's not a prospect I relish - A bus? Pah!

hehe

Crow is clearly a dinosaur throwback from the 70s; any move to modernise is rejected. What we need is for the next step to be driverless trains (works fine elsewhere - like the Docklands Light Railway).
