Luckily I worked from home today. No such luck tomorrow, though I dont use the tube ever. I expect that the bus I'll be taking will be more packed than normal, seeing as how its the only one that seems to go from Barnet to London Bridge (43)
Northern line was working today, was totally rammed but then it's like that every day.

The 43 around Highbury & Islington and the City will be absolutely horrific I imagine.
Cheers. I cant use the tube due to a medical condition I have, so I am forced onto the peasant wagon.

Guess my 90 minute ride in tomorrow may be some what longer..

Real nightmare of a journey in today; due to heavy traffic around Westminster Bridge it added 16% onto my journey time, meaning the 5.5 mile trip took 22 minutes on the bike rather than the normal 19. Not looking forward to the trip home, it's likely to be even busier and add an extra 2 or 3 minutes frown

Is anyone able to advise me on the following please? Tomorrow I'm going from Hitchin - Kings Cross - Green Park (Victoria Line) and I need to be at Green Park no later than 10:45am.
Is leaving from Hitchin at 09:00am leaving it too late?
Thanks,

How was the Jubilee line heading out from Canada Water to Stratford today? Got to go in tomorrow but luckily not till midday. Lately I've been over-grounding it from Clapham Junction to Canada Water then tube to the Olympic Park. Only costs £1.80 one way as opposed to £6 or £7 if I go via Waterloo.

If the Jubilee is no good, I suppose I can continue the Overground to Shadwell and get the DLR. Think it involves a couple of changes.

Maybe I shouldn't be so ghey and use the motorbike but I hate the usual bunch of idiots on the commute so it must be 10 times worse at the mo'. Plus midnight finishes in this weather 'ain't no fun on the bike.

Oh! and Bob Crow! you can suck my great hairy..................mad

Leave at 8-8.30 I reckon.

Best going Kings Cross and get a bus to Trafalgar Sq and walk. Not actually that far on foot from Kings Cross.

Oh well, thats me getting to work late.

Gotta be at Euston station by 19:05 to catch the train out, leaving Moorgate area at 17:30. Chances of my getting there in time?

Thanks, I'm walking as a backup. Where I need to be is only three miles from Kings Cross.

Walking will probably be quicker if you can find your way along some quieter routes. Routes away from the mainline stations can get very busy.

Fears proved correct, extra 6 minutes as the embankment and HoP was gridlocked.

Canada water is definitely out of action this week, even the overground is not stopping there.

Walk it if it's not raining, should only take about 45 mins.

Currently on a 43 bus heading to central. Bit busier but not much up to now. Highgate tube station will be the telling point for now
