I normally thought propaganda was a bit subtle and subliminally subversive, not slap in yer face obvious.

If it's real that is.

If not I'm not sure putting FCO identity on their makes the messages any less biased hehe

Can someone please remind me why a squabble between Russia and Ukraine is any of our business?

Because if 'we' roll over there's the risk Russia will be emboldened to look at returning some of the other previous Soviet states back to their sphere of influence.

Some of those states are members of NATO. If Russia invades then we have no choice but to punch him in the face. Then everyone will start swinging.

I don't think Putin is stupid enough to attack a NATO state. What he does appear to want to do, is make sure that NATO and the EU don't expand their own sphere of influence on his border.

That still gives him no right to invade a sovereign state however you wish to spin it.

Why? I can think of countless historical examples where it was every bit as overt as here, and just as effective.

But wasn't the initial coup that forced Russia's hand perpetuated by Western involvement in Ukrainian politics?

I remember listening to a leaked video with some US woman discussing things in some recorded political meetings way back in late 2013 iirc?!

We have no evidence other than some shrieking from Russian state controlled media.

Even so... that gives Russia no right to intervene with military force. This could have been dealt with in the UN.

However, it is known Russia already head designs on Crimea, as far back as 2008. (note the date on the article)

Janet "F*ck the EU" Nuland, she helped spend $5 billion dollar to promote democracy in the Ukraine, to overthrown a democratic government in the Ukraine.

Perfectly understandable, ask Venezuela, Argentina, Iraq, Afghanistan, Iran, Libya, Nicaragua, Chile, Ghana, Congo etc.

I'm spinning nothing. I have no agenda here, just giving a possible Russian viewpoint.

You should empathise with your enemies. That doesn't mean you sympathise.

You should listen to Robert McNamara smile
