“In an interview with The Daily Beast, Sgt. Ivan Kharkiv of the Azov battalion talks about his battalion’s experience with U.S. trainers and US volunteers quite fondly, even mentioning US volunteers engineers and medics that are still currently assisting them. He also talks about the significant and active support from the Ukrainian diaspora in the US As for the training they have and continue to receive from numerous foreign armed forces."

You can also put in some effort and dig through info. on PNAC, predatory capitalism, the writings of Smedley Butler, and US corpratocracy's foreign policy in developing countries for the past 25 years (particularly in S. America). I strongly suspect you have no real interest in the subject at hand, in which case you'll find acceptance with the cut 'n' paste crowd here. smile

It gets better, now the national patriots, sorry Neo nazis are considering an involuntary government change. We know that as a coup.

To let FT tell it, these "troublesome Praetorians" may be set to overthrow the government in what Right Sector leader Dmytro Yarosh calls a "new phase of the Ukrainian revolution."

Its another awkward situation but IMHO its really a USSR thing. One would have thought that the politicians might have studied the partition of India for homework. Another more recent fiasco that is in living memory is the break-up of the Former Republic of Yugoslavia.

I haven't been there for decades now but I can still remember not feeling at home in Northern Europe until I got to Serbia. In those days one had to change ones currency after every few gallons of petrol which was a great nuisance. As to Greece, getting off the ferry at Piraeus took about five hours as there was so much petty officialdom. In particular the queue for Immigration and the officials were like a scene from a Monty Python sketch. Presumably I'm not the only person who was given the run-around and now they are broke.

As to the Ukraine how about having an Autonomous Russian Region on a 999 year lease for a rent of one dollar? Simple!

Can you actually believe what the twisted little tw*t is doing now...?

Russians shocked as banned Western food destroyed - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-33818186

This sort of behaviour wouldn't go amiss in North Korea.

He's banned western condoms too.

If he keeps doing this sort of thing he will end up with no mates.

Go on then, when was the last time, we as a nation, destroyed perfectly good food, on trumped up H&S grounds, to spite another nation, when we were struggling to fill our own shelves whilst attempting to conduct an illegal permanent land grab in another sovereign state, after previously agreeing to respect it's borders...?

Hmmm...?

when has the western country freely gave away their strategic location, literally for nothing?!

Also there is the law in Russia(to not import foreign food) which good or bad should be respected, you can't accuse Russia of lawlessness yet at the same time of applying that same law.

Without forgetting that the inability to feed its citizens adequately was one of the major reasons for the collapse of the Soviet Union.

But that's none of my business.

However Russia does not refuse to purchase food from all foreign sources, nor does it refuse all food. It's mostly to try to spite the EU in a tit for tat game to wind each other up. Both sides are capable of it.
