Where would you suggest?
Read the article...

There was another hypothesis a couple of weeks back that they had been searching too far north, assuming the plane was ditched. Someone had the bright idea that the plane might have glided...

Did they ever check it hadn't escaped Earth's gravity and gone into orbit?

Personally as the items found are all in tiny bits I think they are wasting their time. I suspect the engines are probably the only part that is going to be in much of a chunk and finding something the size of a transit van is basically going to be almost impossible.

As reported on CNN just now...

A NY magazine claim that the pilot had practiced the 'suicide route' on his flight simulator at home.

That was news about a week after the plane disappeared.

Wing piece found in Tanzania - might yield clues on whether flaps were used for a controlled landing or if the plane was nose-dived...

Very interesting.

If this does turn out to be scorched then we have a near identical issue in the crash in the Med.
this if correct is a serious model wide fault and might need the fleet grounded for corrective works/upgrades.

But this was a Boeing 777, Mediterranean was an Airbus 320...

They are a different aircraft type but as yet no explanation for EgyptAir 804 and FlyDubai 981 just appears to be a transcript of what happened based on the FDR data.

But it could be all 3 have the "burn" issue.

Is it a fault?
Is it deliberate?

I knew they weren't the same type of aircraft, they were simply further, so far, unexplained crashes.

Are you putting two and two together and making 11?

Not to mention that the plane in the Med was broadly on it's planned route, whereas the MH plane was (assumed to have been) many thousands of miles away from where it should have been.

So the captain flew it all the way south for his own reasons, but just before he got wherever he was going, it caught fire? Bummer!

All that jazz

It's just Welshbeef being Welshbeef. He's not the brightest crayon in the box and most long-termers here know to ignore him, as should you.

I don't agree with the burn out. if it was on fire it wouldn't have gone as far as indicated.
