A very inept and hapless being. The mind boggles how these people think themselves fit for purpose.
Even more mind boggling is how the electorate think these people are fit for purpose. And if the polls are correct then it's looking very likely that it will indeed be Chancellor Balls in just over a years time.rfisher said:
'due to the deficit that he will inherit'
Someone should recommend to him that he visits his GP and asks for medication for his short- and medium-term memory loss ! It's a race to the bottom for the 'main' parties nowadays, isn't it? A race where the winner doesn't retain/gain power for the next electoral term...

This made me angry.. How come no one can stop him spouting such sound bites?
You couldn't do that in other industries!
Why do you not want to hear what he has to say? We need to know exactly how stupid he is before an election, not find out after. You couldn't do that in other industries!
Remember it took Brown best part of 2 terms to wreck the economy. Balls could do worse in a single term.

I was staggered when I heard him say that. Why didn't the interviewer pick him up on it????
My immediate comment was exactly this - Nick didn't bat an eye lid but did ask him why the electorate should trust him when there were clearly mistakes made....He jumped in saying that the experiences and past track rocord of mistakes that THE LABOUR PARTY made means that they are ideally placed to fix things now. I took it rather badly but good old Nick Robinson was almost smiling along with him
