Why do i pay

1 The wife loves to watch total st on the commercial channels

2 I believe BBC 4 plus the radio offerings are worth it

3 I don't scream about how i am being oppressed by the evil BBC

Watching leftist propaganda still won't happen. Bring on the day when not paying a 'fee' for not watching it - with the facility to see other live broadcasts - is within the law.

So why do you pay?

Surely if you are this bothered you would either flout the law or find away to watch life streams without the BBC

Or you could take a principled stand and stop watching live telly.
