I think NF is playing a blinder and the MSM are falling for it hook line and sinker.
Turned the telly on last night:
NF defends UKIP posters that some consider racist..headlines ITV news @ 10.
NF employs German wife............headlines BBC 10 pm news.
Just a guess but probably same on Sky etc
How much would it cost a company to place this amount of ads at prime viewing time on so many channels?
I bet NF is looking forward to the next non story hitting the headlines
mrpurple please don't abbreviate Farage to his initials, some 'clever dick' on here will mix him up with that racist party.Turned the telly on last night:

Use his full name, Nigel Farage, they simply can't stand it!
I can see that UKIP might hoover up some , if not a fair number, of working class traditional Labour voters, and immigrant votes. Immigrants have long been very mindful of new immigrant populations, and Working Class Britain is not being represented by the newer more centrist Labour. UKIP might have a very interesting mix of supporters.
UKIP may in fact be a real coalition all by itself.
one should remember that the Far left is not liberal at all.
Marine Le Pen, the French Equal to Farage, attracted many communist and blue collar voters in the last presidential elections. THe French NF is more developed than UKIP, so perhaps it is an indicator of where UKIP might be headed.
LE Pen is anti EU, anti free trade, pro heavy state involvement in industries vital to France, pro protectionism, pro french jobs for french folks, anti euro zone. There is much more a sense of racist overtones in LE Pen, but France is much less multi cultural than the UK, and it is hard to be a part of society without adopting French values and mores.

Let's see just how stupid that statement is:The USSR Communist party was more developed than Labour, so perhaps it is an indicator of where Labour might be heading.
Yeah, that seems entirely logical.

I just caught a UKIP party political on the telly.
I must say that Nigel is looking much more professional these days. His confidence levels have probably taken a real boost after his universally acclaimed performances in the debates with Nick Clegg.

He came across well, good to see the multicultural angle too, it might help to quieten the usual suspects.
It won't.They are all afflicted with extreme cognitive dissonance. They will switch off the telly as soon as he says something that they agree with.
Zod's recent posts are a classic example.
It doesn't matter how many immigrants (like me) support UKIP, they still trot out the utterly discredited "racist" card.

Agreed, but remember that we've had people on this very site trying to argue that Labour and the Nazis are effectively the same thing are one and the same because the Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei had the word 'socialist' in its title. The USSR Communist party was more developed than Labour, so perhaps it is an indicator of where Labour might be heading.
Yeah, that seems entirely logical.
Never underestimate PH.......

still many, many reasons for people to dislike him.
Like what exactly, what is the reason to dislike anyone for that matter. You dont really know him as a person other than what we all see in the media.Do you like the other party leaders because they are better actors, is this what is important to you perhaps?

Nick Robinson's interview with Farage was absolutely pathetic. The funny thing is the MSM still don't realise that the more they demonise/insult/patronise UKIP, the more people flock to them!
Was it pathetic because you don't agree with it? He didn't demonize or insult or patronize our Nige, he politely asked questions. Out of those 26Mil chasing UK jobs, (or as Nige said 'hundreds of thousands') nobody else was qualified because, err, only she can answer emails at 2am. I really doubt that NR was concerned about people flocking or not flocking to UKIP. His job as a journalist is to ask questions.
If it was any other politician, you'd be probably laughing. Quite rightly. But, it's Nige, he can do no wrong.
Here is a suggestion. Whenever you think someone is unfair to NF/UKIP ask yourself would you think if it's unfair if the same was applied to any other party / leader / public figure. It's common sense.
While on the subject, do you think it's ok to run posters clearly designed to play on people's fears?
Edit to add; Why do you think that voting against equal pay for women is hilarious?

People have fears already, all the poster does is show them in a pictorial media,Fear as a political tool appears the norm and has been for many years, the lib dems appear to be pushing the fear of massive job losses if we pull out of the EU.
