the right wing loons in here
Translation: people who don't agree with you.
Your name calling skills need attention, you wouldn't even get a zero hours contract with Damian McBride on that basis. Adding 'swivel-eyed' could have got you an interview. Invoke Godwin's law and Hey Presclott the job's yours.
Maybe you've got something to add with regard to the fact (not my mere opinion or your mere opinion) that zero hours contract workers have marginally better job satisfaction than average.
Maybe you don't.
Maybe we could arrange an exchange program?
All the happy as Larry zero hour boys to the site I work on & all the miserable zero hour contract blokes from here to get "educated in the delights" wherever it is that having no guaranteed pay, O/T rate, roster & paid holiday entitlement is considered fantabulous. Often when TUPE'd former in-house guys are doing the same jobs for effectively many thousands of pounds a year more.
Still, I suppose eventually the old boys will die off (natural wastage I think it's called) & we'll be one step nearer the sweatshop Britain that you wish we lived in.

Right in there for the IRONIC post of the week reward!
I forgive him that. He lives for spamming this place. The king of c&p probably gets a bad dose of hypertension every time the server goes offline for a 20 minute update at 3am. Hardly surprising he would not remember his own name calling posts.

Not a word of substance by way of reply just the usual noise from empty vessels. As to name calling, I've given as good as I've got from true believers over the years, purely in self defence, but not of late since they've all gone into hiding. Mods advice on that has been taken anyway.
When people go for the personal angle first off as you both did you've got no high ground to take. Try getting back on topic.
Don't wish to take the thread off topic but re zero hours there is a place for such contracts. Examples can be given if required.
However there are circumstances where they have been totally abused and serve no one well. Again examples can be given.
It really is not a black and white scenario as seems to be being argued by both sides from my perspective.
Anyway back to Ukip.
One thing that's emerging from the Scottish independence debate and could well apply to Ukip is that the closing of establishment ranks just doesn't cut it anymore.

Which is a pity, but you brought it upon yourself.
Might be a daft idea but I wonder if people swapped and did each others jobs for a day or so how many attitudes might change, hopefully for the better.
Name calling based on misconceived perceptions and brainwashing by ones own surroundings is a serious problem people face throughout their lives. Broaden your experience before judging others is my opinion.
I do not believe personally in left and right, only right and wrong.

I'm not entirely convinced that right and wrong can always be considered moral absolutes.Mojocvh said:

Congratulations on your new self-appointed role as arbiter of post quality. We're all subject to the same posting rules, you're in the same boat as me. It looks as though you're in the business of trying to provoke a reaction so you can complain about something, a dud strategy for sure. As per other posts on this thread I prefer to stick to the topic but if false allegations are made and name-calling kicks off at the hands of others there's nothing in the posting rules to stop this being highlighted in a matter of fact way. Users of terms like 'right wing loons' should be looking over their shoulder at Posting Rule 2. It's been suggested that it would be better to get back on topic, but you seem determined to drag the thread down.Which is a pity, but you brought it upon yourself.

@wc98,
Sorry if offended you.
should have put a after the Little Britain 'bitty' pic.
Must admit, I was not fully reading the discussion re 0 hours contracts, was just skimming through and that 'meme' came to mind.
Us kippers have had so much st thrown at us that poor attempts at humour is all we got left!
no offence taken ,i was just a bit taken aback by the turn the discussion took, particularly steffans post . i really enjoy his posts in the euro thread, lots of rational thinking and informed insight. the complete opposite of the last post in this thread.Sorry if offended you.

Anyway, for a thread with 'UKIP - The Future' in the title, this is close.
The Future Is Purple
There's a very clear statement on immigration from the 2015 prospective candidate for Eastleigh who also offers a brief comment on green issues. She's a former Labour voter not a disgruntled Tory. Shades of this from the previous post but one.

not been following NF's US tour, but tripped over this interview...

kind of hard to argue against him, although really not sure what the target in the US is?

So, business as usual then.
The Tories are continuing with their 'vote UKIP, get Labour' argument.
