So, the UKIP fans default is to believe that any bad press is an unfounded smear and any bad press of other parties is true and good reporting?

My interest right now is to see if UKIP can actually put out coherent polices that amount to more than 'anti' positions. Right now I still can't distinguish UKIP from a single-issue separatist party and they're not even consistent on that.
Which rock have you been hiding under for the past months?
Perhaps you need to 'distinguish' with rather more effort, I certainly will not waste words because you are lazy (or one eyed).

Rochester and Strood MP Mark Reckless quits Conservative Party for UKIP
Should never have been selected. He was drunk in his first debate in the Commons. Used to work for us and was loathed, particularly by women.

Can you share some dits on any other Conservative MPs you don't much like? Just in case like...

Wouldn't be surprised if we get one every 6 weeks so the by-elections can't be set on the same date.

I find it quite amusing, jumping on the occasion of anyone from UKIP dropping an unguarded silent but deadly, all the time hiding the skeletons in the Tory closets.

Hypocrite.

Excellent news!

I was hoping for a defection yesterday, so I was a little bit disappointed when it didn't happen.

However, Nigel is probably better at organising these things than I would be.

UKIP will enter the next general election with at least 2 MP's.

I have a strong suspicion that there are more defections to come. Daniel Hannon?

The timing will be to ensure it dominates the Sunday papers on the day the Tory conference starts laugh

Welcome to conference...

Thanet North showing Con and Lab neck and neck
Rotherham still would appear to vote for a pig with a red rosette. However local Labour organiser is saying they are floundering and losing ground.

Lord Ashcroft has fingers crossed that next defection isn't Hannan. Admits that would be disaster.

I doubt he will, plus he has already written on the subject saying why he wouldn't. I quite like him and what he says, but he does have an air of knowing that the Tories offer long term employment , rather than chancing his arm with what might be a short lived Ukip adventure.

As much as I like Hannan I don't think CMD will lose much sleep over an MEP defecting.

It's interesting to note though that a couple of days ago the Ukip secretary was boasting about having '2 more' Tory MPs in the bag.

I just hope longblackcoat remembers our bet - he bet £50 that UKIP wouldn't win Boston & Skegness in the GE next year smile
