So from being this inquisitive undecided to rabid nationalist in about 6 months, quite an achievement. Fortunately most Scots are much brighter than you, they don't share the nationalist victim mentality and complete inability to understand school level economics. If Scotland was only populated by people like you and Fluffnik, we'd all be pleased to see the back of you. Thankfully a majority of your countrymen will vote to remain in the union. The whining coming from you and your fellow nats when you get your arse handed to you will be deafening. No doubt you'll be back to entertain us in your alter ego complete with more nonsense quotes from WOS.

Afraid not. I think highlighting the clear bias on this thread has been fairly well achieved! The selection of information posted and combined with the omission of alternative views is quite appalling.
The problem is that the Scottish Govt isn't saying anything.
Pretty much every body up to and including the Scottish Law Society has asked the Scottish Govt to publish its figures.

The Scottish Govt have refused to do so.

It's kind of hard to support the SNP argument; when it isn't providing any facts.

As a Scot; I would actually like to see this.

It just proves what an emotional issue maintaining the union is for most folk posting on here - that they would seek revenge for a yes vote by stopping buying Scottish products. Toys out of the pram.

I shall be boycotting them too - they support the no vote. 19th Sept will be a day of reckoning!

So what's your background in economics? A level/higher, degree? Masters, PhD maybe? Or do you just read Wings over Scotland?
Shall we take the lack of an answer as meaning a lack of any education in it? I suspect so.

Clearly irony is not your thing.

For the record, I don't eat soup anyway.

But it seems the modus operandi of unionists here is increasingly to result to insults when their ivory tower is threatened. Keyboard warriors ahoy, who wouldn't say boo to a goose normally. Taking out life's frustrations on t'internet...

It must be a wind up.

Calvib, can you explain why you think the rUK should enter into an "energy union" with Scotland (as per the farcical white paper), and send billions of subsidy to Scotland (at the expense of rUK) as it does at the moment in the UK (where we're all together so it doesn't matter)?

This is the only thing supporting Scottish renewables at the moment - and the subsidy would stop with a Yes, just as sure as the RN frigates would be built in rUK.
Calvib, can you debate these points?

Out of (current) principle, I wouldn't buy Scotch anymore... and haven't done for a few years... but why would you when you have such mellow wonderfulness as Labrot and Graham's Woodford Reserve Bourbon available? Same for smoked Salmon, wild Alaskan every time for me...

Looking to the future, rUK cannot meet it's energy from renewables targets without.

Those very same targets the EU have announced they are scrapping?
Good luck paying for your renewables on your own....

I don't know what you get so het up about anyway.

We'll vote YES.

Our respective governements bill bash out a deal that works better for both countries than the current set up.

This will involve a temporary currency union.

Scottish continued use of embassies.

A shared energy grid.

Very easy trading conditions.

Continued use of Union Flag.

We'll get on just fine and wonder what all the fuss was about.

That'll be a no then.

You really don't have a clue do you?

An economic pygmy like the rest of them. Just spouting the same old rubbish from Yes HQ without even a basic understanding of how anything works.

You and your arguments make the best case possible for a No vote, you really do.
