For those of you who follow the polls: ‘Undecideds more likely to vote Yes’.

Which tells us "53.6 per cent of Scots are poised in favour of No, with 44.6 per cent backing independence, according to analysis of the British Election Survey".
Are you still undecided?

Question for you: John Swinney wrote that he benefits and defence will have to be cut - as iScotland can't afford it. How does this reconcile with all the wealth the SNP says it will have?
Yes, still undecided.

Question for you: why would iScotland need a comparable defence budget to the UK? We'd be a small nation withot the need to play billy big balls on the world stage invading other countries.
IScotland borders rUK thus a hostile force uses Scotland as a staging ground to attack uk, your not in NATO so you get invaded by Isis nutters rUK then forced to launch air strikes.

Course you could always have proper defence budget.....

Question for you (betting you won't answer): how will iScotland uphold Alex Salmonds threats about denying EU nations fishing Fleets access to Scottish waters without the necessary defence budget, given that Scotland IIRC has an even longer coastline than rUK?

As an add-on, how will you fund the necessary defensive/counter espionage flights against the rather regular Russian incursions into Scottish airspace?

Well you might look here....

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuclear_weapons_and_U...

After getting their independence from Russia the Ukrainian people needed a leader of their new nation. After winning the presidency his main focus was on the future of the nuclear arsenal that Ukraine possessed. He said “We will stand for the liquidation of nuclear weapons, tactical and strategic, and this should be done in a process of negotiations with all countries."

Everyone promised to protect the Ukraine if it gave up its nukes:

1 The Russian Federation, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the United States of America reaffirm their commitment to Ukraine, in accordance with the principles of the Final Act of the Conference on Security and Cooperation in Europe, to respect the independence and sovereignty and the existing borders of Ukraine;
2 The Russian Federation, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the United States of America reaffirm their obligation to refrain from the threat or use of force against the territorial integrity or political independence of Ukraine, and that none of their weapons will ever be used against Ukraine except in self-defence or otherwise in accordance with the Charter of the United Nations;
3 The Russian Federation, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the United States of America reaffirm their commitment to Ukraine, in accordance with the principles of the Final Act of the Conference on Security and Cooperation in Europe, to refrain from economic coercion designed to subordinate to their own interest the exercise by Ukraine of the rights inherent in its sovereignty and thus to secure advantages of any kind;
4 The Russian Federation, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the United States of America reaffirm their commitment to seek immediate United Nations Security Council action to provide assistance to Ukraine, as a non-nuclear-weapon State party to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons, if Ukraine should become a victim of an act of aggression or an object of a threat of aggression in which nuclear weapons are used;

It all seemed such a good idea in 1994.

Fast forward----->>>2014 (only 20 years later)

Many Ukrainian and international leaders believe that if Ukraine hadn't removed its nuclear weapons that Russia would've been deterred from entering Ukraine. Certain Ukrainian leaders are angered by the west because Western Europe and America wanted them to rid their nuclear weapons.

Ukraine may have to arm themselves with their own nuclear weapons if the USA and other world leaders don’t hold up their end of the agreement. He said “"We gave up nuclear weapons because of this agreement. Now there's a strong sentiment in Ukraine that we made a big mistake.

He also said that "In the future, no matter how the situation is resolved in Crimea, we need a much stronger Ukraine. If you have nuclear weapons people don't invade you."

Semantics.

That refers to the Union Jack as part of another flag, such as Australia's. As you know.

It's inappropriate for the stand alone Union Jack to be flown at the games, just as the Chinese, the Russian and Brazilian flags have no place at the games.

A TEAM Scotland supporter was escorted out of her seat by police at the swimming event in Glasgow for holding up a Saltire with the word Yes on it.

The woman – who the Daily Record would like to hear from – also had a Yes badge on her handbag and was escorted from her seat at Tollcross by two officers.

Police Scotland later issued a statement saying that officers were acting in line with the ticketing terms and conditions laid down by the Games organisers and that political messages or symbols are not allowed within venues.

The statement said: "Comments suggesting Police Scotland does not allow Saltire Flags into venues is inaccurate. Saltire Flags are allowed into venues as are flags associated with other competing nations.

"However, flags from non-competing nations or flags affiliated with to other organisations or causes, political or otherwise, are restricted.

"This is outlined in the Glasgow 2014 Venue Regulations and is part of the ticketing terms and conditions."

I didn't used to care about Scottish independence but the more I read the more I realise that the pro-independence lot are totally and utterly economically illiterate. Additionally they have had years to figure out how currencies, debt, central banks, treasuries, borders and the EU works but they don't appear to have bothered, which means they are either very thick or very lazy or both. Now it would be quite amusing to step back and watch their hubris implode in another Iceland/Ireland/Greece if it wern't for the fact that a few million innocent non-idiots would get hurt in the process and England would end up picking up the pieces.
Nothing to add, a perfect description.

I seem to remember that a key plank for Fluff was that the UK's ecomomic performance was poor (it is now the fastest growing ecomony in the developed world - http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/economics/10988... and that Scotland could do better. Another plank was that the UK's borrowing costs would increase and Scotland could borrow nearly as well.

Take a look at this:

The British Government is being PAID to borrow money for 50 years.

More ‘don’t knows’ veer towards Yes so although it's apparently "not in enough numbers to secure victory for the Yes camp" it shows what a piss poor campaign is being run by BT / No Thanks / whatever they're called this week.

You know my views that both campaigns have severely let down the people of Scotland.

By that very same argument the Yes campaign is a piss poor campaign.

For starters, tcould have articulated the benefits of the union because I'd suggest that over 95% of voters are not aware of most of those.
