Best thing is, that stuff is brewed in England! biggrin

I'm not sure about the love for the stuff TBH, it tastes like st and isn't that cheap, a bottle of white wine would do the job just as well and is probably easier to swig in a short period of time.

I think if this referendum had happened maybe 30 years ago it would have been a foregone conclusion,we would have had independence no problem. Now that the country is absolutely stacked full of Chinese,Pakistanis,Indians,Polish,Africans, whatever, most of them won't give a toss either way,so no real Scots left to vote now to say anything either way.
For example the last time i was in Glasgow i was going to see someone that was selling an Integrale, walked into a work shop full of Pakistanis/Indians 'and',more importantly, a huge warehouse full of half cars!!!Needless to say i turned on my heels and walked out.Incidentally,in this area of Glasgow without a word of a lie i never saw one white Scot, walking or driving,i was genuinely shocked!!
I saw a black person in Annan this week, I too was genuinely shocked, never seen one before, swamped we are, swamped.

Wealthiest country in the world called Scotland.
Wealthiest country in the world attached to England at the top.
Wealthiest country in the world with Salmond as First Minister.

The list goes on...

Oooh, look at you!

Get over the stupid "racist" slur as it makes you look highly unintelligent. Bonus points for the Buckfast slur rolleyes

The old school trying to silence pro-independence posters by banning them reminds me of some lessons we've all learnt from history.

That's all.
You implied pistonheads was some sort of ultra conservative regime curtailing free speech by banning a few people who have made sectarian / racist comments and you sought to justify that bs statement by saying it reminded you of history.

fk off with your hard done by whining st, it's a car website with a few non car forums not stormfront etc if you don't like having to show even some basic restraint this is not the place for you.

As for unintelligent I may be but then that's ok because having a double digit in iq not a prerequisite for supporting the snp, so you will of course feel right at home.

Scotland would only be the 14th richest country in the world by GDP because it is in a Union with the 4th - the UK.

The big question is how could Scotland sustain it's trade with the Uk if it elects to become a foreign country.

Simply extrapolating a fictional position for Scotland in this way is nonsense because the wealth is assessed as if Scotland is in the union. It would be massively wrong to assume that trade with the Uk would stay at the same levels.

No I didn't - you, and a few others it appears, misunderstood my "regime" comment.

That was intended as a light hearted reference to the banning and bullying of Yes supporters being a bit like history's lessons of opponents of say the Nazi regime being sent to concentration camps to control them.

But it was misinterpreted so forget it.

Why haven't you been banned?

You have consistently banged the YES drum
So do you think I should be banned?

You regularly use vulgar language and are incredibly offensive to other posters so why haven't you been banned?

Whatever happened to free speech, eh?

I am not saying you should be banned

I am asking why you haven't been banned

As you appear to believe that people are being banned purely for being YES voters

This is spot on, and I left a comment saying so. I'll be avoiding all the referendum coverage from now on (if I can help myself) I won't change my mind between now and the referendum date. I'll try to ignore the lot, and vote no on the 18th. Lets face it, nothing will change for either side, the nats will still be banging a drum shouting complete nonsense pretending they're somehow better than everyone else, and the unionists will still harper on about the questions that will never be answered. There is no sound financial ground for independence and that's the end of it. I'm sick of it all to be honest. You can't teach people who won't listen.

Ahm oot! See you all on the 19th!

There's a lot of valid points on that article.

For those of us who've posted on this topic over the years, isn't it interesting how a few regular posters have gradually disappeared?

Jeez again with the bullying what bullying?
Are those like you such sensitive souls that robust debate with folks that oppose your political outlook are "bullies"

you really need to stop with that, no one has "bullied" you or anyone else on these threads, for the avoidance of doubt people should read the rules regarding posting on the website, then they will ensure they wont get banned by not breaking them.

My brethren whine too much it appears.

Vote yessss freeeeeedom for the English!
If you knew me in real life you'd find I'm anything but a sensitive soul.
