I can't understand people changing their mind on this issue. I can understand the undecided making their minds up, but why would anyone change their mind over such a fundamental issue?

So we could have a Yes result. Awesome, we get shot of over 40 Labour MPs and with that remove Labour's chances of winning the next election.

Don't let us down Scotland - save us a shedload of cash, a fk-ton of whinging and griping, rejuvenate English shipyards, boost our public sector jobs and banish Labour.

fking hell I do hope it's a Yes!

Lots of people lie. I've lost count of the number of times people, generally on social media, have said "I used to be a 'no' voter but after looking into the facts I'm now a 'yes'". Then when you do a bit of digging (previous facebook or twitter posts for example) you'll see that they were always 'yes' to begin with.

This probably happens the other way round too.

That's been mentioned a few times, I believe there's even a term for it - "Doing a Calvib" wink

Not if the current polls are correct. Ashroft's recent polling for example suggests a Labour majority of 70 in 2015. Even in 1997, 2001 and 2005 Scotland's seats would have made no difference to the Labour majority.

You do realise that the odds are only based on the distribution of the bets placed since that was first made, don't you?!

And that by far the greater proportion of bets made in the last month in Scotland have been for a YES vote. By FAR!
Well put a grand on a YES vote then

got the money to back your bullst?
Can I have a bit of that action please? I will put a grand on a No vote.

Well well

Just in the Sky news now Oiil Rhen (European Union Economic and Monetary Affairs Commissioner Olli Rehn ) has submitted a formal letter from the EU to Scotland re The vote

Basically it clarifies IF Scotland voted Yes and used the Sterlingisation "plan b" entry to the EU would not be possible they have to use their own currency have their own central bank.

So voting Yes is a 100% guarantee of EU exit.

Interesting

More interesting, is how the FORMER monetery affairs commissioner Olli Rehn who STOOD DOWN IN JULY could submit a FORMAL LETTER FROM THE EU

I think the current commission runs to end of October until the new lot take over in November.

Van Rumpy is still in post although he is standing down as well.

He has also just been elected as one of the EU Parliament Vice Presidents.

Two weeks to go and in my experience the biggest emotion from anyone I know who has an opinion on this is weariness. We're all just fed up with it - the SNP come out with utter garbage that is then parroted by their supporters, who must know they are talking rubbish but just are too blinded by fervour that they can't stop themselves.
I genuinely feel sorry for the sensible Scots who, through no fault of their own, will at best still be in the UK but a severely sectarian part of it, or at worst an independent country with a guarantee of rising bills, falling living standards, and failing services.
Poor sods.

And that is why he stepped down for July - to campaign for election. He is still officially in post until November.

It isn't really news anyway. The EU have never allowed entry by a country without a currency or central bank for good reason so are unlikely to start now.

Couldn't agree more. They should not be allowed to keep Sterling as they would then be Scottish NOT British!

Yes people on Facebook are still crowing about "Darling said we could use the pound". They just don't get it that using the pound informally (the only option they have to use it) = EU exit. So they are also crowing about their belief that a yes vote guarantees EU membership.

silly
