Also given the SNP have said they want to renationalise the Royal Mail how will they actually do that? The price has risen significantly and they have huge debts. Also given all the management structure is physically in the rUK how would it work? They would have to create all those positions AND the pension fund for those who are based in Scotland would have to be taken on by the Scottish Govt

It is also one that the SNP cannot deliver if they become European union members as the competition rules would not allow it.

Well quite. The fact that pcv and burger think their 'race' of scots is fairer, purer and more morally upstanding than other lesser 'races', like those evil tory englanders, does kind of prove the point that they are supporting a selfish and racist movement. Those facebook links are rather depressing - such small minded ignorance of the nationalist moron. Sad in the case of the BNP who thankfully have almost no traction in the UK, disturbing when you think a similar mindset has a majority government in Scotland.
My Race of Scots? Could you explain what you mean by that? Go on, I could do with a good laugh....

Couple of new polls this morning, both showing it quite close.
The Yes crowd has a bigger budget (the SNP are already stealing public money for their cause) and the latest blurb to be pushed through my letterbox headlines the £600 I'll be rewarded with if I vote for them.
With 43% of the "economically challenged" voting Yes, it's going to be close for sure. Even with a decisive margin either way, the divisions in Scottish and UK society generated by the SNP will cause serious problems down the line.

Business for Scotland have challenged the cbi to show proof the majority of its members back the union. Fair enough I guess how about business for Scotland showing some big employers back
Independence

RBS

lloyds banking group

Aberdeen asset management

standard life

SSE
Then it might be more credible
Stagecoach

.
Interesting that Business for Scotland (the SNP front backed by that care home guy who dropped out of CBI) are trying to make out CBI has only 80 members - they have many more and they are the biggest names in Scotland. More spin and lies! These bandits are really starting to irritate. CBI have over 200,000 members, and they reckon to represent companies in Scotland with over 600,000 employees.

By contrast, 2 companies - one with 45 staff and both with dubious Salmond links - have pulled out. The SNP has then made 2 of its quangos pull out in a political stunt, and Scottish TV has baled in order to try and stay impartial.

I hope the CBI do have a vote of all members - that would be very interesting indeed. I suspect over 95% would say independence is a totally st idea with no redeeming features for business! The 5% would only be those with noses in the SNP trough. This is what the media should be jumping on.

Why will you get £600?

Are the SNP really implying a Yes vote will see you better off? Really?

I hope for a no vote, but really if there is a yes the reaction from the rUK is going to be fierce and not in any way compassionate!

Must check dates of stuff before posting..... Not really what you'd call news... By Staff reporter, 12 January 2012 12.36pm. Updated: 26 November 2012 12:04pm. As you were Wiggly.... laugh
You really must check the posts after the one to which you reply, in case the matter has been pointed out and explained wink
I just thought I'd add some detail..... I'm not trying to have a pissing contest with the class clown.

I think you are pretty sure the scots are better than the stupid english and can run themselves much better than with the thieving english. This is how you come across to me. If you support a Yes vote, you are supporting the SNP and their policies, which you presumably think are OK? In this case I assume you think that discriminating against english students is OK? Do you?

I don't buy any of this 'its not about the SNP' tosh, its total bks, presumably only peddled as you are in denial about openly admitting support for the more ugly policies that are being pushed. Make no mistake, a vote for Yes is a vote to (try and) kick the rUK in the balls and say F you. It will fail miserably, but the fallout will be deeply unpleasant.

Its much more expensive to deliver mail to oslands and remote areas thus not profitable. Big city's are much more profitable. Thus loose Scotland and costs fall

Who gives a monkey's fart what aholes like you are going to vote. If the idiots take over the asylum God help the sane. It is racist tts like you that are going to feck the life out of the Scots economy - I hope you're proud of yourself. At a guess you are employed by a SNP Govt dept, probably immune from the ste storm you are going to visit on your fellow Scots. I'd like to say hang your head in shame, but along with the imbeciles running the SNP I doubt you have any.

So why do you believe (quite wrongly i might add) that Scotland is less racist then England?

You must believe that the Scottish are better then the english

Hey guys this happened to the thread a few months back where blackswan got folk so worked up the f and c's made an appearance. So can I suggest if we don't like a post far better to ask for facts to back up the crazyness than call the crazy a racist.

It worked with burger just pointing out every time he avoided answering a question or providing proof.
