Curse this English Bitter

just for a second I thought you wrote "earrings"

Not as it matters, I suspect most tattooed nesbitts are ear-ringed too

Will this all be over soon? I pray

You can't expect the bloke to represent England or Wales - do you?
Why not - he does live in England. Is there some rule to say you can only represent the country in which you were born?

After watching last nights debate I do think (watching from afar) a yes vote seems more likely. Yes campaign are just arguing about policies and how much better life could be with a shared vision. No campaign do seem more negative, with less ambition, because they aren't seeking change. That is the problem as I see it.

Do the no campaign need to increase the 'scaremongering'. That is probably a double edged sword. but the yes camp seem oblivious to the very real risks that would instantly make life more difficult and expose their fantasy policies.

I do wonder also if some of the undecideds will look at the question on the day and think that it should be independent, perhaps putting aside the question of whether it is in the best interests to be independent

Mo Farah movies in the US. He represents the Uk
Tax dodger Lewis Hamilton lives in Switzerland. he represents the UK too

Should Mo represent the USA and Lewis represent Switzerland?

If I recall Andy has a massive place in Scotland too.

His choice. But I wouldn't expect someone to be giving him the F off treatment.

Plus points for independence:

Labour lose a load of seats making a Conservative election victory more likely.

The rest of the UK no longer have to subsidise the socialist state of Scotland.

Ongoing entertainment as the independent Scots realise that they don't get the pound, can't join the EU, and that money doesn't actually grow on trees.

Economic bonus as Scottish companies relocate back into the UK.

Gordon Brown becomes a foreigner.

Negative points for independence:

Smug look on President Salmond's face when he wins.

Can't think of anything else.

So on balance I'm hoping for a yes vote.

You do realize that Westminster has no spine

They will cough up for the SNP masterplan

The populous of rUK needs to make it quite explicit to their MP's that voting for them is dependant on growing a pair on this issue.

Any government perceived as pandering to iScotland will likely be out at the next election - there is enough bad feeling over this issue to ensure that IMO.

I am too, although I feel sorry for the innocent No voters caught up in this debacle. I think any of them who want to move to the rUK should be able to do so immediately. It's not their fault most of their countrymen are brain-dead morons who don't understand the magnitude and ramifications of what they're voting yes to.

Never underestimate the effect of stupid people in large numbers.

Still....vote YES for a better rUK! Don't let us down Scotland!

I still haven't had an answer from a Yes voter regarding how iScotland will plug the 12 billion a year black hole in its finances.

Has anyone?

An excellent read and covers many points that the Yes Camp are screaming about, the NHS point being a favourite that many forget in the blue face brigade.

Anyway, as you were.
