So to paraphrase, I was too busy messing around with other stuff I thought was more important to get me reelected like posting pointless leaflets through people's doors, and not bright enough to realise that this was important and that the 'advice' ie whips bking,I was given was a crock to help deliver a cover up.

The prick is refusing to answer as he is now a prospective parliamentary candidate and no longer an MP.

Think I'll dig up a few of his musings in the local paper ad wander along to a meeting.

Amazing, isn't it? Oh, how they would love to get their horny hands on Enoch! Been trying so hard for so long to totally discredit him in any way possible.

Now, a Bishop, who got the allegation from another Bishop, who was told of the claims in the 80's (and who told him no one knows) and says the claims, although passed on to a trigger-man, were unsubstantiated. What ever happened to hearsay?

Powells name continually appears if you spend any time looking into Kincora.

Yep - I note my MP voted 'No' as well. Only previous interaction I have had from him was a letter (in response to mine) explaining why bombing Syria (when we wanted to bomb the people who are fighting against the people we're bombing now) was a ripping idea.

I'll go along to a meeting as well . . . if he has any - doesn't have to try particularly hard to get elected as a Conservative around here.

Thanks for that. I'm grateful.

I knew nothing about the Elm Guest House in the 80s beyond just a bit of gossip. I did a bit of checking up on Smith and the place was mentioned once or twice but the rumours were vague. The name of the woman was also mentioned but I assumed she was Asian, so that shows how far off I was.

Plenty of questions need to be asked.

I'm not sure what to make of drunk Cyril Smith groping the teenage son of a police officer. You'd have thought something would have been done about it then, unless it was the funny handshake club.

Interesting they showed a photo of Samantha Morton abused in care as a child in Notts. I understand there was some march or protest in support of imprisoned victim of child abuse in care Melanie Shaw in Nottingham today.

i have been very surprised to see david steel being asked for comment on the election on tv in recent weeks. i say surprised,as in surprised he has the gall to show his face in public. there are more than a few that will not think twice about putting him on his arse if they are ever unfortunate enough to bump into him, with or without security.

I wonder where the media get off not asking him about it? Not asking him about could add credence to the idea that the establishment and BBC are quite up for covering this whole matter up or making editorial decisions not to report it.

Well for anyone who thinks the press is free should take a look at current output. Significant proportion of reporting is being deliberately and outrageously slanted according proprietorial directives. Thus it always was but is particularly prevalent. Why should the reporting of CSE be any different. Too many cupboards holding too many skeletons.
