One of the female pupils made a statement about some of the things that were going on including segregation and any interaction between girls and boys being strictly controlled to the point visiting pupils homes and warning their parents if they were on even remotely friendly grounds. What an absolute mess this whole thing is, secular schools broadcasting the call the prayer across the playground on speakers. One can only hope all schools are made to ditch religion to the tiny amount of teaching it should be.
I saw one girl on the news may be same thing you mean
Also saw a good one with a couple of lads saying how good it was what you could and couldn't do etc........ all was going splendidly until another lad piped up that it wasn't an Islamic school
Go into the city centre of any places with large muslim populations and you Will see muslIm girls openly with boyfriends. This so called segregation isn't having much affect....
And so it shouldn't. My worry is when you have people in schools talking to pupils about "white prostitutes" and quite blatantly trying to make a them and us division between Muslims and anyone else while trying to enforce segregation and no female interaction, it makes me wonder if that kinda thinking isn't related to why those Muslim rape gangs almost exclusively targeted white girls who they saw as white trash, because they were so sexual inadequate to get in on with a girl in even a vaguely normal way.

To me the city centre girls and boys means that so called segregation policy didn't really exist?
One of my friends' kids go to one of the Trojan school , for first time very they had Graduation ceremony, music, singing, dancing, girls dolled up, boys suited and booted, all mixing- hardly segregation or hardline methinks ?

They should have shown the mobile phone pics to the OFSTED inspectors. That would have shut them up. All the teenagers I know are constantly taking photos and posting them on Facebook Can these pictures be submitted to the press? It would certainly challenge a stereotype.

One of the probs is the schools went very silent( i appreciate there are legalities to consider)-they did send letters to parents - but did little to defend themselves publically.

The head of one the Birmingham schools at the centre of the 'Trojan Horse' controversy has revealed that parents of Pakistani origin wanted her to "get rid of the white kids" at her school.
Sarah Hewitt-Clarkson, head teacher at Anderton Park Primary School, told the Sunday Times that when a small number of white children arrived at her school, which was predominantly Muslim, parents started making a series of racist demands:
"We had kids saying 'What are you playing with the white kid for? What are you playing with the Christians for?' The dad of one of the Pakistani heritage pupils at the school even told me I should 'get rid of the white kids'.
"He said, 'If I was head I would get the white kids and shove them in the corner with white desks and a white teacher and keep them away from the rest of the kids. I told him that what he had said was racist and I was going to write it down. Then he said, 'You should get rid of the white kids, that is what the community would want you to do.'"
She later reported the parent to the police.

Probably nothing, it seems racism against "white kids" doesn't exist. Now if that had been a parent of the "white kids" demanding the same treatment of the Pakistani kids then I think we can all agree something would have happened.

Well, if your idea of "nothing" is a media furore, detailed investigation by Government agency, and a damning report, then, yes, nothing happened.

Well yes clearly that's not nothing. The point was an alleged report / complaint to police of clearly racist behaviour. What happened to that complaint?

Maybe it was investigated. Maybe it boiled down to one person's word against another with no other evidence to swing a decision for action. But it's a reasonable question the poster asked as to if it had been the opposite situation what if.

Entirely reasonable. As far as can be discerned from information in the media, Ofsted didn't investigate/inspect the 21 schools (alongside LA, DfE and EFA investigations) because the police passed information to them.

The whistleblower managed to get something to happen in one way or another regardless of local police dropping then reopening a fraud investigayion.

Leak of Peter Clarke's report just being reported.

Clear evidence of a co-ordinated agenda to impose a hard line version of Islam.

Deliberate attempt to convert state secular schools into exclusive faith schools.

No evidence of terrorism.

In the long term some of these school children would have been vulnerable to radicalisation.

Very critical of city council. Evidence they knew about the practices as far back as 2012. They have let down many of their employees with a policy of appeasement.

The council due to release their report tomorrow and say their conclusions are different but admit there are severe governance issues in these schools.
