A bit like taking your car allowance at work, why the hell wouldn't you?
Well, if you're the boss of the company and everybody knows you haven't got a car but cycle everywhere it doesn't exactly set a shining example to the rank and file. Fill yer pockets lads.
It would be like a Green party MEP taking advantage of a car allowance.... we'd all be calling them hypocrites, yet when someone who campaigns against the excesses of the EU and all that goes with it takes full advantage of all those excesses then suddenly it's ok.....

This Farage bashing over taking a flat rate allowance is laughable when you consider the mammoth abuse of expenses claimed by MEPs and Commissioners.

Ride-on lawn mower for a sixth floor flat, anybody?

Not to mention the obscene salaries and benefits paid to Commissioners.

Or the thoroughly corrupt, unelected organisation that is the EUSSR, whose accounts have never passed audit, that extracts eye watering amounts of money from us and suffocates us with laws we don't need and don't want, whilst we have no means of removing the law makers from power.

Farage is the only leader who stands against this crap, so leave him alone to get on with it and support him all the way to get us out of this stinking mire of socialist control freakery.

Edit...Aaaargh, my LibDem council candidate just knocked on the door for a chat. Bad timing, old chap, sorry I swore. A lot...hehe

Edit edit...he said every MEP costa £1million a year. Is that right...? If so ---->
