Aggressive evangelical Christianity can be very unpleasant, as can be seen from some of the behavior in the USA.

Those people may justify their activities on the basis that it is a preferable counter to Muslim fundamentalism.

Those subject to it may deem it preferable for a similar reason.

He has not once mentioned evangelical christianity so the thread title is plain wrong.

It also seems that those of other faiths have no issue with what he said but some secularists do have an issue. Anybody know whether Dawkins has made a comment on any of this?

Homeopathy perhaps, although that may have a placebo effect too...
