Remember the bint who made the news last year after the NHS gave her a £5k boob job "so she could pursue her dream career of topless modelling" ? (whilst the NHS was simultaneously denying expensive life-changing operations for seriously ill kiddies).

Well - now, predictably after ending up knocked up, and using that to get a shedload of free NHS dentistry that single mothers are entitled to, she has publicly stated she is going to abort the baby purely so it wont interrupt her ambition to appear on Big Brother in a few months time.
Just so you know, free NHS dentistry is not just a perk for single mothers - all pregnant UK ladies are entitled to it, and for a year after their baby is born. On account of how certain parts of the body have got nine months to loosen up a bit before the big day, and the gums don't see any reason why they shouldn't join in the fun too. (Maybe there is some deep evolutionary reason for this, but the ones that leap to mind are just too mind-bendingly freaky to contemplate...)

Yes you're right, the Mail is a success story but not from the blinkered liberal left perspective. Don't mention the printed circulation of The Guardian, certain people on here get a bit touchy. Those who criticise the Mail in terms of its printed or online content are often ignorant of what it is they're criticising. ONS data, gov't information etc is somehow confused with editorial content in what passes as thought in these simpletons. Then they read mere opinion from editors and correspondents over at the BBC or Guardian and treat it as unimpeachable fact. Which once again goes to prove the old adage that knee jerks don't need a brain, only a spinal cord.
Eh? Are you trying to say that the Mail is some sort of repository of journalistic integrity? Or just that you prefer the side bar of shame to the Beeb and Guardian?

Neither of of the above. Re-read suggested.

Jeez the bar is low tonight. Your transparent rhetorical device is transparent.

Have you stopped beating small children for no reason?

I have read a few articles on this woman, and to be honest I just feel a little sorry for her. She clearly has some kind of self destructive personality disorder. It's sad more than anything else.

Clearly the rest of us should not have to pay for this - if only the money could be spent on proper help rather than, well, tits - they clearly didn't improve the situation.

It's hardly my fault you struggle to express yourself clearly.

What posting rules have I broken? If I'm breaking some rule, wbich one? It looks as though you don't like what I post, if not what is it, if so you can ignore it.

I would expect you as a complaining type to keep threads on topic and not go personal like this.

Having forgotten when you got elected to speak for what's allowed on PH maybe you can remind me. As things stand, what I see in threads is me standing ground against pathetic keyboard bullies like you who want to silence people with different views on what can be posted and how, by telling them what they can and can't say. My opinion over the years is that PH doesn't operate that way.

Thanks for that, very funny indeed, but duck's back covers it.

If that's your best shot, have another go it might be better than awful next time.

He's right though. Rather than look at your stream of consciousness paragraph above and thinking "perhaps I could have made myself clearer" you went straight onto the attack, suggesting I beat children of all things, and then you complain when people respond in kind.

Your hectoring style and insults are getting tedious. Tone it down please. (And, yes, I am a mod.)

Yes you are a mod and I appreciate the implications.

However, you may not realise or appreciate the implications of what I posted.

You offered me two options neither of which was favourable, which I was forced to choose from in effect.

This is known as a 'have you stopped beating your wife' (or small children) question, there is no option to choose that isn't bad or unrealistic.

That's what I posted and other people would realise straight away that there was absolutely no suggestion you were beating small children, I'm struggling to see how you missed it. Perhaps you could be mod enough to acknowledge that you got the wrong end of the stick over this.

You're right, I didn't realise it was meant as an example, but then "transparent rhetorical device" doesn't seem to mean what you think it means. A simple explanation of what you didmean would have helped. This isn't a court or debating society where people will object if you expand.

Either way this thread and others are littered with insults like "useful idiot" aimed at people who disagree with you. It's not on and I (We...) would like it to stop.

No names or pack drill, but aholes on prominent display with increasing frequency.

You kind of wonder if people EVER take a step back to consider, even for a moment the monumental futility of wasting their time arguing with strangers on the internet. Do they go to bed thinking that a good day's work is done?

There are posters here for whom I would cross the road to avoid. No doubt it's reciprocated with interest but some of you people badly need to reassess your priorities in life.

What, in the Daily Mail? It never used to be that bad y'know, perhaps the odd flash of underwear and that was it.
