So UKIP win the Euro Election.....

Do you have a link for that because I see nothing recent.
Its being going on for years and they're still doing it:

He isn't the only one doing it and it'll still happen, just won't be done so obviously,
Don't be so naive.

Get your facts straight I have not posted a Cat meme in months, if you are going to bring me up in a thread at least do the decent thing and be accurate, oddly the only cats on the recent threads were posted by Anti UKIP posters iirc, hypocritical much?
Are you totally devoid of a sense of humour as well as perspective? It was a lighthearted way of suggesting that we may have quite enough threads about Ukip on here, it was not a dig at you. What will happen? The Kippers will bang on about an "Earthquake in Briddish Politics" and how they are going to overthrow the "Poloddical & chaddering classes"
The rest of the country will go "Meh!" & be far more concerned about the 23% of taxation that's spend on Welfare rather than the 0.9% that's spent on the EU!

I don't think anything will change overnight. When does it ever?
The part I'm more curious about at this stage is how Labour do. If Labour come out on top then the Tories really have to look at a deal with UKIP. If they also have a disappointing result then the Tories have a bit of breathing space, and Labour might feel more pressure to promise a referendum, especially if UKIP are taking votes from Labour as they have made a concerted effort to do.

With the representation that the Labour party has in Scotland it might be useful to consider their position if the Independence vote is a 'Yes'. They could be wiped out in the rest of the UK and so irrelevant when it comes to a General Election.

Did you watch BBC Breakfast this morning? The French will be out at the first opportunity...The rest of the country will go "Meh!" & be far more concerned about the 23% of taxation that's spend on Welfare rather than the 0.9% that's spent on the EU!
The EU will not survive in its current form. It should be a trade zone and nothing more.

Only 0.9% of taxation? Do you not mean 0.9% of income/wages taxes? Obviously this does not include the Vat receipts which goes straight to the EU.
Thats approx £13billion gross and £7billion net per annum, (using 2010 as example)
7 billion we could use for ourselves, and not wasted on EU corruption.

And you realise you posted a link to a financial website run by the Daily Mail? Do you expect anyone educated to take anything the Mail says seriously?

And some take themselves very seriously indeed.Nic
The thing is, in order to misquote someone, there needs to be a quote of some kind. As I didn't quote anything I can't have misquoted anybody.

If you are saying the chart/stats in the link are wrong then please provide a recognised source which proves they are , instead of trying to dirty the messenger. Can I ask you - entirely genuinely, I assure you - what the intentional misspelling signifies? 'Briddish', 'poloddical' and 'chaddering'.The rest of the country will go "Meh!" & be far more concerned about the 23% of taxation that's spend on Welfare rather than the 0.9% that's spent on the EU!
Thanks.

BUT they exclude any indirect financial benefits. They also exclude any indirect financial costs.
Anyway, what's this about VAT going to the EU?
