I think few would argue with that bit, but when said weapon incapacitates but doesn't kill said felon, then what? I suspect most would call the police, neighbours etc etc for help. They probably woudn't get busy with a chainsaw. Which, unfortunately if this character somehow gets away with it, becomes a legal possibility (or at least might give the impression it was) in this particular state. It would be a Psychopath's charter IMO.
Then you've a judgement call to make. Will the police definitely arrive before the intruder recovers? What if they don't, or there are more accomplices coming?

If all you've got close by are pensioners, calling them may not help.

Personally, I'd call the police, but if they'd already failed you twice before, then what?

There is only one thing we can be absolutely sure of - those scrotes won't be breaking into anymore homes. And for that, I won't shed any tears.

Reading threads in this sub-forum isn't that different to reading comments on Youtube video pages.

Speaking for myself, a minor laying-in of the boot prior to calling HM's finest would probably be indulged, ostensibly to ensure they don't get back up mid-call. I don't think I'd slit their throat or similar.

No, I was laughing at your ridiculous macho prose. On top of your earlier posturing, it's the icing.

Of course dead people can't commit further crime. TopOnePercent of what?? Remedial class?

We lived out in the Caribbean for a while and it was common knowledge that if you were burgled, it was highly likely the intruders would kill the occupants to stop them talking....nice.

Consequently, no one slept well and just about everybody had a weapon of some sort for the fear of burglary.

It took months for me to recover after a few close calls and it is the most unsettling feeling knowing that you are not safe whilst sleeping.

It is sad what has happened here but ultimately avoidable.

Your hand wringing, pant wetting, stance of "but poly tonbeee said violence wuz wrong" is as entertaining as it is ineffective.

Fair one to him. Serial burglars, needed getting rid of.

Should have prepped his weapon properly and it wouldn't have jammed hehe

I cant help but laugh at all the big men here who think that they too would murder a wounded child.

Even in a state which accepts that burglars can be shot and killed, theyre prosecuting this man.

Do you need help joining the dots together or will you all work it out in your own time?

FFS. It's not just mammy that calls you "special" is it.

Scum break into the same house three times. Eventually, it gets them killed.

In your mental lentil world the householder should do what? Lie back and think of England, and just pray the intruders are peaceful and unarmed.

Disastrous? Delusional may be more appropriate.

Nice ninja edit from pimps to ex shags!
The householder can defend their property in the US (with guns) within the law. A shot to the brain(via the chin as he couldnt be sure a .22 would go through the skull!) to kill an incapacitated girl,is not within that law, thats why he is getting done, for going too damn far

Hopefully there will be one less gun-wielding murderous psychopath on the loose soon, too.
