John Hall Independent Newspaper website 9 July 2013 said:
The latest legal move, in which Mr George demanded compensation as a victim of a “'miscarriage of justice”, followed the dismissal of his claim by two High Court judges in January.

Lord Justice Beatson and Mr Justice Irwin had rejected his claim that the Justice Secretary unfairly and unlawfully decided he was "not innocent enough to be compensated".

They ruled that the Secretary of State was "entirely justified in the conclusion he reached".

Following Purity14's post above, I wouldn't for a moment wonder if leaving any lingering doubts over Barry George may be beneficial to others that may have shot Jill Dando.

They made an I-Spy spotters book for them in the 1970s.

Different times.
