Islam and the West

Perfectly reasonable, wearing a mask is wrong in public. Most communication is no verbal and the face is the most communicative area.
I'm very tolerant of religeonists, my personal views are it's all ridiculous, but everyone has the right to choose.
Covering the face though... very different, it's not required by religion. Why should anyone hide in public.
There are special clubs for folk that like wearing masks, i believe they aren't religious ones.
DO what you like in your own home, but not in the streets.
The Saudis don't take too kindly to minimalist western clothing. I'm very tolerant of religeonists, my personal views are it's all ridiculous, but everyone has the right to choose.

What if you don't want to 'communicate' or be 'communicative'? Should you be made to be?Thin end of the wedge once you start telling people (and it's women we're really talking about here) what they can and can't do as they walk to the shops.
Teachers etc in their professional role then yes I'd agree but Jo public...nah, let them get on with it, it's the price you pay for being able to boast that you live in a 'free' society that sometimes people will do things that you don't like to see.

Should we ban Hoodies? Ruck Sacks? Blokes wearing dark sunglasses with black caps?
Where does it end?
No and nor should we ban Islamic dress.Where does it end?
What we should do, is make sure they are not allowed to be worn in situations where it would be inappropriate to wear a balaclava, motorbike helmet, etc.

gpo746 seems to have a lnk-a-day to some anti-Muslim story or other.
Something clearly grates.
I like it.

You should not like it that there are so many Muslim true stories available. Bad for Muslims, bad for 'colour' relations.I like it.
...because every story you read in the Mail is true
...Oh, and you've completely missed the point of my 'I like it' comment.
...and 'colour relations'? Really? You do understand the difference between Religion and Race yes?

You like it that it grates - OK.
The term race is incorrectly used most times -Most Muslims & most Europeans are the same race. No? The "average" UK native is not certain if a brown person is Muslim or not (most Pakistani Muslims are deemed brown), and yet non Muslims are probably the majority. Did you have something else in mind. Happy to be corrected.

Ok, if a story is not true, you can sue DM or any other.Kindly provide links of successful libel cases in this regard.
JK Rowling...Angelina Jolie...and just because nobody sues doesn't mean the story isn't bullshine..."A 16 October 2009 Jan Moir article on the death of Stephen Gately, which many people felt was inaccurate, insensitive, and homophobic, generated over 25,000 complaints, the highest number of complaints for a newspaper article in the history of the Press Complaints Commission. Major advertisers such as Marks & Spencer responded to the criticism by asking for their own adverts to be removed from the Mail Online webpage around Moir's article. The Daily Mail removed all display ads from the webpage with the Gately column"
Here's Clooney slapping them: http://www.smh.com.au/lifestyle/celebrity/george-c...
You're not arguing that they don't get sued for printing entirely false rubbish though are you? Surely not.

As far as I'm concerned 'colour' has nothing at all to do with it.There are Christians who are black, white, brown, yellow, latin etc etc
There are Muslims of the same.
Anti-muslim isn't a 'colour related' issue as you've hinted it might be...unless you're saying thats how the white people of the UK are seeing it. Are you???
Is that how you see it? Radical Islam or even just Islam is a colour issue?
